Yes, this is "just" a shopping area, yet it's more than that. The beautiful, narrow, winding street takes you past one unique and picturesque shop after another. The white-washed buildings adorned with blue trim house artisan shops, cafes, and nightclubs. We had fun looking at all the seafood on display and choosing where we'd eat at night. You never know... Matoyianni Street is the place to see and be seen. Directly on Matoyianni Street is Lotus Garden (Elsa is fabulous). Dine at the first table nearest to the street (it's a walkway/path since cars are not allowed in town) and watch the world go by up close and personal. Great shopping - not many restaurants on this street but it... More

I wouldn't say this is a 'top attraction to see.' It just is literally the MAIN street in Mykonos Town that shops/bars line. You can't really avoid walking on it.

As you arrive in the town of Mykonos there is a road which runs around the outside of the town. Found quite challenging to drive as cars parked on side of road, and only room for another car to pass. You can park down on the north port car park and walk in to the town. About a 10 minute... More

We passed through town three times and loved window shopping and discovering great places to eat for lunch or dinner. The "streets" are all narrow walkways surrounded by whitewashed buildings 1-2 stories tall comprised of fun boutiques, mostly selling jewelry, clothing and souvenirs. The fun part is the maze like set up and discovering what is around the next corner.

Everyone talks about the shopping here. Its a bunch of really overpriced boutiques. Perhaps some stores have lovely items but still its over priced. I prefered some of the quieter side streets for excellent photo opps.

This is a great place to go after lunch or dinner! It is a beautiful windy street full of great shops and nice sight seeing. We walked through this area daily after dinner to grab drinks and do some shopping. It is a perfect spot to combine with the Windmills or Little Venice!

The heart of Mykonos town.. a pretty vibrant street with excellent spots to chill, drink, shop, see and be seen. A paradise in white and blue, smilie faces and surprises in every corner!

A great women's and men's store in Mykonos! So much variety and such beautiful things. I could have bought a lot…but settled for just one dress. Staff are very helpful and friendly and made me feel very much at ease. The only thing I don't like, is having to come out of the dressing rooms and into the main floor... More
