I stayed for a few days on Mykonos many years ago, probably in the month of April. It was then a fishing port that catered to tourists in the summer season and was quite charming. Now, it has become a victim of its own success. I was here in mid-June and some of streets in Mykonos are so crowded that... More

You can spend a couple of hours window shopping or shopping the Branded outlets in the near by lanes or just relax over coffee or Beer in any of the cafe's in the bye lanes or by the sea side. A lovely place where we enjoyed the evening before reaching the Wind mills for sunset.

What I love about Mykonos: the beaches. It's a different island during different months of the year. Peak season is filled with posers - off season is filled with beach lovers. The shops on Maytoyianni Street will gladly take your money and the shirt off your back. But it's not the shop owners who are at fault..it's the people who... More

I didn't like so much Matoyanni street. If you walk from the mills to Paraportiani there is a nice atmosphere, little shops, bars, jewelry, everything seems like a typical small island town. Matoyanni street is different, you can only see big trends shops, and there is nothing so characteristic. You can't even see the sea.

Once you have seen the Windmills and ready to have lunch or just people watch then this is a good place to be. There are plenty of restaurants to sit and just relax while taking in the harbor view. Take some time and go back into the smaller streets behind the boardwalk which seemed like a maze at times but... More

when in mykonos, poeple usually talk about the paradise and super paradise beach...however, i would say that matoyianni street is definitely a must visit. The uniqueness of this street is its walk and the excitement of getting lost. During the 3 days that we were in Mykonos, we went walking this street everyday. It hosts many brands, restaurants and great... More

I had an opportunity to visit this store in Mykonos and found that both the Clothes, Design and Architecture of this store drew me to its location! The Sales Representatives were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable regarding their products. The clothing desings were unique and very individualized! Thank you for all your help.

This area is where all the shops are located. It tends to get busy when the sun sets as during the day all the people are at the lovely beaches or restaurants of Mykonos.

most top shops are in this street, many of which are international brands, but don't forget to go on the parallel streets that hide interesting more traditional shops and jewelries or hand crafted products with true greek taste

I wasn't over keen. It was really busy on the day we visited and lots of shops selling the same things. We bought a lovely piece of olive wood in a shop the owner told us was the oldest shop in Mykonas town. Certainly much cheaper than the olive wood we've seen sold anywhere in the south of France. If... More
