Went up there at about 9 am in the morning to kill time while waiting for next bus ( 11.15 am bus ) to Paradise Beach. Nice view of Mykonos Town and the harbour from the solitary mill. The Agriculture Museum was closed. Opening hours for museum: 4 pm till 8.30 pm, Monday to Sunday ( June till October ).... More

Great location, superb views, beautiful mill building but I have no idea what is inside in terms of mill machinery or agricultural implements because it was closed every day of our visit. Is it still open. P.S One of the best places from where to view a good sunset

The agricultural museum includes many areas which are located in different parts of the town. The first one is the museum of folklore which, according to the schedule, stays open from 5.30 pm till 8.00 pm. but practically I found it always closed, and I had to go to the tourist information point to complain about that. Another part, is... More

Agricultural Museum and Boni windmill is situated in Ag. Ioannou Str. It's difficult to park nearby and all the times I tried to visit the windmill's museum inside, it was closed. The view is fantastic from there though as the whole town is lieing in front of you and you have the opportunity to note the outside mechanism of the... More

The windmills are the iconic essence of Mykonos and they are well worth making the brief trip to them. They are not far from the center of town and one should not be deterred by any reports or maps that make them seem distant nor should one be deterred by the relatively steep hill to see them up close. Mykonos has been a great party scene for the past 50 years, but has a long, heroic history. The boni windmill is not quite on the beaten path, but is just 1000 steps from the heart of Mykonos Town. Continue up the hillside for a great photo of the windmill with the beautiful port in the background. On most days,... More
