They call it Little Venice. Nope it's not like Vence but it is very picturesque

I often wonder why Venice is the Gold Standard for comparing any building that has a water view. This place does not have canals. It is a small harbor area. The restaurants are... read more

I often wonder why Venice is the Gold Standard for comparing any building that has a water view. This place does not have canals. It is a small harbor area. The restaurants are abundant and the food is mostly inexpensive. If you want to go somewhere that looks like Venice then go to Venice! Euro is weak against the Dollar... More

Very pretty area, just below the old wind mills. There was clown on stilts entertaining the kids, and he speaks perfect English as well as Mandarin, certainly a man who knows his audience.

Lots of places to eat & drink while watching the amazing sunsets over the sea. Lots of small shops to browse.

Most of the houses you see on Mykonos are bright white. Here they are in many bright colors. Area contains the local folk museum and is filled with shops, houses, churches. Well worth an hour walk around.

I love the Greek Islands, but Mykonos is one of my favorite. It's know as the windy island for a reason. It gets quite windy. Little Venice was my favorite part of Mykonos. Having been to the real Venice, I can say it gives you a great glimpse into what it looks like. Beautiful to just sit and watch. I... More

Obviously not as impresive as real Venice, however real cute, and romantic in the evening. You get the view on cute buildigs, mills and breathtaking sunsets! Can get overcrowded, as all people on the island gather there in the evening. Be early if you want a place to grab a drink.

Reading the reviews, some people were not in "Little Venice" but in the area behind the quayside where the shops are better. "Little Venice"; more like little Margate! There are a couple of bars from where you can watch the sun over the sea (6 Euros for a glass of house wine) but beware! As the sun gets lower in... More

Cocktails here for sunset, say no more. Just beautiful! Everything here is overpriced, but still worth it!
