Worth a visit!

Just a small part of the magnificent ancient greek culture! Don't forget to go up the hill, so you can admire the temple. Most people miss that.

I never even knew about this and it is very interesting to learn about the history of this ancient city. The guide was fantastic and was entertaining and gave a very good history of the island. Must see if you are interested in Greek and Roman history.

We did the ferry trip to Delos island. It is amazing that 30,000 people used to live on this island around the sixth century BC. The ruins are in great condition and it is really neat to walk down some of the narrow streets and see some of mosaic floors that still remain in excellent condition.

Delos Tours in effect hold a monopoly on boats to the island unless you charter your own boat. They charge 20 euros for a return trip as they have a captive audience - you can have a guided tour but this is double the price and you can get a guidebook or free map and take your own time -... More

If you are visiting Mykonos you should make sure you put a day aside to go here. Described as the Greek Pompeii, you have an amazingly preserved 2nd/3rd century BC down with streets, houses, mosaic floors and plastered walls everywhere. There is even a 4 story house in amazing condition. I suggest getting the boat trip with tour included from... More

Wish I could give a review after actually having gone to Delos but unfortunately nobody at Delos Tours wanted to take me or anyone else on my cruise ship for that matter. We arrived in Mykonos at 1:30 pm October 6th, well within the time to catch the last ferry to Delos that is advertised on the website to run... More

This was an interesting tour bur quite expensive at 40 euros each. Pleasant boat ride to the island and a very good guide who made the information interesting. However no shade on the island so we were very hot. Interesting museum and nice little cafe.

The tour lasts for a few hours in total, and in early Oct 2015 it was 20 Euros just for the boat trips over with an extra 5 Euros to pay to enter, or 40 Euros each for a guided tour with entrance fee included (so 15 Euros more for a guided tour). I would highly recommend the guided tour,... More

This is a worthwhile tour of the biggest archaeological site I have ever seen it also has a museum and a shop, make sure you take a hat and plenty to drink the one shop is quite pricey €20 for 3drinks, give yourself around 2 hours to do the site

A visit to Delos is definitely worth doing. We opted for the tour but realised after about five seconds that it would have been better to just read up about it in google beforehand or get a guide book and do your own thing. I would thoroughly recommend doing it this way to anybody, unless you like being herded like... More
