Small engine 4 wheeler, barely made it up some of the hills with the mrs and I (i'm the heaviest at 155 lbs). Bounce around on the dirt and bumpy roads but once you get to the top and walk around the lighthouse you get some great views. hardly anyone there.

If you are there you can see Tinos Island and a big part of Aegean Sea. Very nice place for having pictures.

While this is a bit off the beaten path, it is something you should see when visiting Mykonos. You will have to take a 4 wheeler or car to get there. The view all the way around the lighthouse is something you will never forget. The road up to the lighthouse will give you views of Mykonos that are breathtaking... More

You have to visit the lighthouse. The view from up there is just breathtaking. The road is a bit dirty but only a few meters before you reach the spot.

1. If you're intrepid, have a go. A little hire car will make it up fine, we got an Astra up there with no problems. It's rough, but take it slow and pick your line. 2. Take something which can shoot panoramic photos. 3. Have an appreciation for slightly crumbling majestic buildings. 4. It's still a lighthouse. It's been electrified,... More

We drove to the old lighthouse, we did not know it was no longer in use and were surprised to see it all rusty and abandoned. We walked around the outside and enjoyed the views. As it was springtime there were lots of wild flowers coming out and butterflies and the odd lizard sunning them self's on the warm rocks.... More

The trip up to the Armenistis Lighthouse was very cool and wound us through a few little towns. the drive provided great views of Mykonos Town and the ports along the shore. The lighthouse is abandoned but it is still a substantial structure. We really enjoyed the ride and the views once we got there.

Expecting something rather magnificent, we traveled all the way to the north point of the island to find the light house. Wasn't really worth the effort. The glass on it is shattered, the lighthouse is falling apart and everything is locked up. I really expected more.

I loved the drive up here more maybe than the actual view from the top. It's nothing spectacular, but it's a nice change of scenery from all the beaches. If you're in a car you'll end up hiking up some steep hills. A quad will make it up just fine so I would take one of those.
