The view from here is fabulous at sunset and worth the journey, though it does not appear served by public transport. Plenty of space to sit on the rocks and watch the sun going down. No bar or taverna facilities, so take anything you might want to have there

A Mykonian beautiful lighthouse on the top of Mykonos. From here you can see the other islands (Tinos and Syros) and have nice pictures

We rented a bike and went to Armenistis on an unusually windy and cold day. But the view of the island was just worth the whole ride. Its an amazing isolated place, perfect for an afternoon adventure - felt like something out of a Hardy Boys story :D

A sleepless night of inner storms was the prelude to the tempest treading Tinos today. I sought the salve of sea, sky and stone this morning in one of my favorite Mykonos comfort zones. May its majesty calm and inspire you; it filled my own drained inner reserves with renewed energy. The lighthouse, or Fanari as the area is known... More

Skip the beach a few hour and visit the place with the best view. Sunset and sunrise are fantastic!!! The Lighthouse is a scary ghosthouse, go in if you dare. Love the Lighthouse! Hope too see it renovated some day...

We visited Mykonos in early spring while it was still quite chilly. So with most of the beaches closed, there wasn't much to do. Taking the advice of our tour contact, we rented a car and explored the island. This was our favorite find. But thank goodness we found it in daylight because it was super creepy! The door was... It's a hike out to the lighthouse. And the narrow roads getting there are scary at best. But, when you get to the Lighthouse, it will be a nice and quiet and a perfect photo op. But don;t plan to stay too long... there's not much to see there after the lighthouse and views.
