Fantastic view

Beautiful view from the lighthouse, but the lighthouse itself is locked up and vandalized. Road to reach the lighthouse is a bit rough. No facilities.

Skip the beach a few hour and visit the place with the best view. Sunset and sunrise are fantastic!!! The Lighthouse is a scary ghosthouse, go in if you dare. Love the Lighthouse! Hope too see it renovated some day...

We visited Mykonos in early spring while it was still quite chilly. So with most of the beaches closed, there wasn't much to do. Taking the advice of our tour contact, we rented a car and explored the island. This was our favorite find. But thank goodness we found it in daylight because it was super creepy! The door was... It's a hike out to the lighthouse. And the narrow roads getting there are scary at best. But, when you get to the Lighthouse, it will be a nice and quiet and a perfect photo op. But don;t plan to stay too long... there's not much to see there after the lighthouse and views.

I'd like to say that this is a great tourist attraction... For sure it could be if there were any facilities. Toilet? Fence? Road? Don't expect these. A view is beautiful. You feel very little in that place when looking at the sea. Not a safe place when visiting with kids... If that was in UK National Trust or English... More

It is a pity that you can only see the lighthouse from outside. If you rent a car I think it is a good idea to visit this area. Great view. You can drive another road back to town so you don´t have to go the same way back.

It's a long haul up to this lighthouse by foot and the drive by road up (and down) an unconsolidated deeply rutted dirt track has to be taken slowly. Photos on this site show that not very long ago this was a cared for landmark. With the new technology of maritime safety, this light is no longer needed and has... More

It was really hard to reach this abandoned but charming lighthouse! It was a challenging experience to drive all those winding road so steep and dusty. But eventually we made it and walked till the very end of the peak where we enjoyed a stunning sunset!!! Recommended..."only for the brave"!!

We stayed close to this lighthouse and so went for a look, but the roads up to the lighthouse are slightly worse for wear, beautiful views of Mykonos harbour and the surrounding area from the road, well worth a visit Good luck Tony
