We played both courses- both were wet, particularly The Sapphire. Could do with better signage on The sapphire, as when you walk up to it and around the course, a few holes it wasn't clear which way to go. the yardages were very inaccurate, particularly with the yellow and red markers on the course.

The accommodation was great: clean and roomy and the staff were helpful. I was also happy to find the course had been kept in good condition over winter, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

Liked everything! Disliked nothing! This is a great place for every golfer especially large groups where everyone is treated as if they are the most important person staying there and the golf is challenging but great fun!

Well maintained and playable in all conditions. Two courses to chose from gives added interest for an overnight stay

Challenging course, with streams and lakes. Loved it. Definitely one to revisit and attack again. Greens here are immaculately kept and stood up well during a thunderstorm whilst there. Guy in the shop very helpful and gave some good tips about going round and what to look out for.

Best course I have ever played and I have played a lot. Emerald course is the one to play. Fast greens good sandy bunkers and fast fairways

We stayed here at the end of May for 4 nights. It is a lovely hotel with good service and dry nice food. The problems that we experienced were that the pool was very cold as they had a problem with it and they said it was going to take a week for an engineer to attend to it. Also,... More

Like the Emerald Golf Course, good hotel facilities. Sapphire Course a joke, drinks a rip off. Poor quality evening meal, breakfast ok.

Gym is basic, nothing more, though they want members galore. An adequate hotel gym but nothing more. Dated equipment, small pool, no jacuzzi, an very poorly managed from the top.

Sorry to have to put a downer on this course, but it was well overbooked. The location and views are wonderful a very pleasant area. BUT, our tee off was booked for 10 am didn't happen until gone10.25 and we then spent nearly all day following a group of 4 who insisted on 85 putts each before they holed out.... More
