The idea of having Poet Kalidas Memorial is very good; the location on the hills and close to the lake is good; the place is not too far away from the large city of Nagpur. However the implementation of the concept makes the whole thing just average. Maintenance leaves much to be desired. Ultimately it turns out to be just... More

Why do we spoil what we have and not make full use of the space that we have in our monuments. Ramtek is the best tourist destination around Nagpur. Beautiful hills, majestic Khindsi lake, RAMDHAM cultural theme park and beautiful Gadh mandir on the top of the hill along with deer park. A fantastic picnic spot and a significant historical place where Meghdootam was written by great poet kalidas.
