watch when your having a bet if you want to stay and watch any race now you have to by a drink i can.t understand why it.s not that they need the money

What a great local irish bar dolores and gus the owners are great hosts and make everyone feel at home as if this was your local bar great music and chat and such a friendly family bar great sea views from the outside terrace .well worth a visit

We have been visiting Peggys Snug in Matagorda for a number of years.This pub is run by Dolores and Mick who are always hospitable and welcoming.It is a fantastic place to watch a sporting event - plenty of banter with Mick especially when Clare are playing in the Hurling.An excellent pint of guinness is available there -in my opinion one... More

A lovely pub, west facing so nice sunset and sea views. Big into the horse racing so if you fancy a flutter, you could do worse. Good selection of beers and wines and the local ex pats frequent the place which is always a good sign.

We were advised by a friend to seek out Peggy's Snug when we next went to Matagorda which we did this March & boy were we glad we did. Dolores & Gus were most welcoming & we spent quite a few chilled hours in there. So when we returned in Oct with 4 friends we couldn't wait to go back.... More

A great welcome from Mick and Dolores any time you go in. great craic, a bit of music, any time we go to Matagorda we're sure to go to Peggy's snug.

A really friendly Irish bar with everything you would expect in Lanzarote. You will receive a warm welcome from Mick and Dolores and you might even win a few quid if you are lucky. Any time we visit Lanzarote we always make sure we go to peggy's snug always get a very warm reception from Dolores and Gus and have a great time---- even when they owned the Rose of Clare The food was out of this world and the service was first Class.
