Excellent wine tasting of great wines with a knowledgeable and nice expert (Emmanuel). Highlt recommended if you like wine and wish to better understand Burgundy.

Splurge for the higher end tasting (slightly higher tasting fee) and you'll get to taste a wide variety of Burgundy wines including a grand cry wine. Before the tour we had the opportunity to tour the cellar and watch them filling wine barrels with this year's vintage, and all during the tasting we were offered all sorts of wine details... More

Spent three days in Burgundy sampling the local wines and visiting the caves. The best experience we had was with Emanuel at Chateaux de Marsannay. Welcoming, delightful, no pretensions, and a font of information. It beat out our visit to the Meursault vineyards. Thank you, Emanuel, for your gracious welcome.

Emanuel gave me and my friend an informative explanation about the wines we tasted. This was the luxury tasting of 6 wines of €16,- pp. You get a chance to taste some beautiful wines this way. The cellars were interesting but don't expect a guided tour here.

We were fortunate to take the tour with Emmanuel who knows all about the wines, the Chateau and the surrounding vineyards and provides a very entertaining commentary. The tour includes the underground cellars with thousands of bottles and barrels in various stages of development. There is even a facility to host a party/wedding in a huge area right in the... Our family were in Dijon and read the reviews of the winery. It was a really exciting tour and the tour guide was friendly and very informative. The wines were of a high quality and we carefully carried our glasses all the way back to Australia in our hand luggage. They now have pride of place our wine cabinet in... More

Coming from wine country in Ontario, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing a French winery. Chateau Marsanny is truly a one stop shop for the production of wine, and a stop on our journey we were have happy to have made ourselves. We were the only English speaking couple on the tour but were given a guide/ translations throughout... More

The first time we tried to take a "tour," the lady said "Come back in 1 hour." (Which didn't make sense, since the tour ended up being unguided anyway-and we were well within their opening hours.) When we returned, a man took our money and showed us to the map to explain where the grapes come from to make their... More

We just went to the Chateau de Marsannay today and had a wonderful experience. We didn't buy anything 'extra' other than the 11 Euro tickets. The gentleman guide spoke in French and English and did a good job of explaining the differences among the 6 wines we tasted. We are glad we went although I would have loved a detailed... More
