you have to drive around and around and there is no indication ,promotion, explanation and it is often surrounded bu ugly buildings More

It is amazing the amount of trees this place has and diversity of them.  The history is amazing as well with the background of the trees as well.  a must see. More

I like palms, and visiting of Elche was logical choice, while we were enjoying our vacation in Alicante. It's a good place to relax in one of gardens and see rich collection of palms. Since we had just 3 hours time for this stop, we decided to take a little train and together with singing group of local children visited... More

If you want to take a little break from the Alicante seaside this is the perfect day trip. The "Huerta del Cura" of Elche is an amazing garden wiht the largest diversity of palm trees in Europe. It offers the visitor a nice stroll in the shade More

The old town of Elche is surrounded by palm groves but there is a garden called Huerto del Cura which is worth a visit. It's not very big but has nearly 1,000 palm trees and lots of other plants including a collection of cactii. The garden is well laid out with curving paths and ponds. More
