Amazing cooking class!
Family
Had an amazing morning at Mina’s cooking class! Very well set up and organised with a great selection of dishes to make! Our host was lovely and catered very well for my dietary needs and preferences. Fresh ingredients and even had the chance to take away some food for later! Love the recipe book we were given and I can’t wait to try at home!

Best cooking class EVER

Mina knows everything about thai food&How the flavours work best together. Eben my boyfriend who is a Chef himself was very enthusiastic about how Mina tought us to cook. We both learned a lot and will definitely visit again.
It was the best experience during our stay in Koh Yao Noi

Top Cooking Class. Our family was the second time here. Again ,we had fun how Mina teached us real Thai Specialities. She speaks English, has a good portion of humor and is super organised.

Amazing and Authentic!
This was one of the highlights of our trip!
The communication with Mina was easy and prompt, and we were picked up from our hotel on time with no issues
The experience itself was fantastic from start to finish. Mina is a wonderful host, smiley and passionate, and she really makes you feel at home in her kitchen. The food was some of the best we ate in Thailand. Local ingredients, traditional cooking methods, in an open home kitchen. It doesn't get more authentic than this! If you want to know why green curry tastes so good in Thailand, your eyes will be opened on this cooking class.

The best activity on our Koh Yao Noi trip

We had so much fun learning how to cook Thai dishes with Mina. Her place is so beautiful, decorative and clean. He explains every step and always has an answer to your question. She took her time with our children. They said „that was the best activity we did on Koh Yao Noi“. So we will definitely recommend her cooking class. We will come back. Thank you Mina for the great afternoon. Es war sehr LECKER!

Authentic Thai cooking class with Mina- is a must do

We booked Thai cooking class with Mina for the 21 of November 2021 as a private class. The communication was excellent. Mina replied to our email promptly and we planned our class via email.
We have been picked up from the hotel and brought to Mina’s place. It’s a very cozy, relaxed place. We have been greeted by Mina with warm welcome. Mina speaks very good English as her husband was from Wales. Mina introduced to us lots of the ingredients used in Thai cooking. It was very informative and easy to digest. Then we cook 4 dishes: 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert. Mina answered all the questions even if questions were about completely different dish. She is super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We left with full bellies of delicious food and now I know how I can recreate Thai curry and make all other sauces from scratch, how coconut milk is done, how to cook perfect rice. Loved it every second of class. I would highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed. Here are some dishes we prepare together.

An absolute must!
My family of 4 went took a class with Mina and her sister back in January 2021. We stayed at the Paradise resort which is further away so we rented some scooters to be able to get ourselves around. It was really easy to make a booking and we were able to specify all of the things that we wanted to cook (private class). Mina speaks English very well, we learned so much from her lessons and stories! We learned about the ingredients, how to make coconut milk and cream straight from the coconut, and how to makes the pastes for yellow, green, and massaman curries from scratch. The whole experience was educational and more importantly really fun, Mina and her sister were both wonderful! This course might be a little more expensive than other cooking classes in the area, but (at the very least compared to any of the resort options) I'd have to say this is a much more authentic and fulfilling experience and 100% worth the cost (and more). As others have said, it was the best food we ate on the island.

Mina is the loveliest!

Had a great time at Mina’s cooking class! I learned a lot from her in her beautifully set up teaching kitchen. The food we prepared was the best I’ve had while on Ko Yao Noi. I look forward to going home and trying out the recipes we tried and she sent us.

Mina's class is a must-do!
We loved our experience with Mina! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like part of her family. She has such a passion and love for food, and it comes through in her cooking. Thank you, Mina!

Thai cooking lesson
This is as authentic and local as you can get in Minas fantastic home.
A great welcome and introduction ( with a coconut lassi) to the food you will be cooking. We had pre booked what dishes we wanted to cook and were amazed at the spread of local herbs, vegetables and produce set out on the table.
We got stuck in with prepping the dishes from shredding coconut to chopping lemons grass, galangal and making the coconut cream and milk.
We then cooked each dish under the watchful eye of Mina and the results were outstanding.
The session ends with your dishes laid out on the table for you to enjoy.
We then had a quick tour around the garden with mango trees, Kaffir Lime trees, peppercorns amongst others that looks out at a rice paddy with ( I think) water buffalo
Mina and her staff are totally professional and helpful and as nice a person as you could wish to meet.
Highly recommended 👍❤️
