On our trip to Niagara Falls, my friend stumbled across this park searching for things to do in the area. We were so glad she found it!! The safari was awesome, especially the baboon section. At one time there were 3 moms with their babies on the hood of our car. So cute! The elephant swim was a delight. They... more

We were looking for something fun to do our last day at Niagara Falls, ONTARIO, CANADA. We stumbled upon this by chance. It is NOT listed in any of the thousand pamphlets and brochures you can get in hotels, stores etc. It is an absolutely amazing safari. The employee at the gate told us it would take about 90 minutes... more

We revisit the safari the second time. Driving from Niagara Falls took ~1 1/2 hr. It may be best to visit the place in the morning while the lions are more active; Unfortunately, both times we end up there in the early afternoon. What we enjoyed the most are the lions, baboons, obnoxious & aggressive ostriches, giraffes & zebras. You... more

* This is a great family experience. You can drive your own car (economical way) to have close encounters with exotic animals. * I enjoyed the Elephant Ride and the Train Ride plus our own Drive-by, of course. * Don't forget your camera, video camera, walking shoes and pack your lunch. The picnic grounds are clean and lots of restrooms.... more

Our family that consisted of 11 people which had 4 adults and 7 kids ranging from the ages of 7 years to 6 months. We all had a great time at African Lion Safari. We used our own vans to drive through the safari and we had no problems. We saw zebras, baboons, rhinos, ostriches, giraffes and many other animals. We... more

This attraction is about 90 minutes from the Falls. Well worth the drive! We booked into a local hotel (Holiday Inn) and got a great package which included our tix for this park which turned out to be a very good deal! Included in your admission to the park is the water park, animal shows, a boat tour, and a... more

I have a 3 year old and she just loves it there, she wants to go 5 times each year. I have a season pass and plan to get one every year from now on. The workers there are friendly, and the animals are just amazing to see. more

Went to African Lion Safari August 2008. It was amazing! We drove right next to Rhinos, Giraffes, Lions and more. Walked right next to Asian Elephants. There's so much to do and see there. Arrive early and plan on spending a whole day. It's a bit pricey, but so worthwhile. Much better than a zoo. Wished we lived closer so... more

This was supposed to be a stop on the way to Niagara Falls. It ended up being the highlight of the trip! How amazing to drive that closely to the animals. The baboons played on our car! (I was a bit nervous they might rip the side view mirror off, but it was ok). The ostriches were eye to eye... more
