I would have preferred to tour the house at my own speed, read the history, check out the amazing woodworking and furniture.

We visited the Great House while staying at a nearby hotel on vacation. We decided to do the day tour and we were very happy with everything. Our tour guide was very engaging and we enjoyed our time at the house. We found lots of reasonably priced items in the gift shop including sauces, seasonings and jam. We also, purchased... More

We did the candlelight tour, and had great fun. There are a few surprises along the way - I won't give any more away than that! The Great House has avery interesting history. Although the guide gave lots of information about the house, we would have liked a little more information about Jamaica at that time to put it in... More

We had a great guide who really played his part well. You must visit at night to get the full effect of the tour. The wood work in the hse is breathtaking. This is definitely a must see when visiting Jamaica.

Great history of slaves and Annie Palmer, very well informed tour guide as well. Beautiful views of Jamaica as well as as the preserved home and furniture. If you like ghost stories, visit this home

We did the night ghost tour. It was cute. I think we enjoyed it all the more because there were some teenagers in the tour group who were spooked a lot! It's well put together, and interesting history, we just don't know if it was worth the cost for us (taxi plus admission).

A visit to the Rose Hall Great House is a requisite visit for the tourist crowd, especially those looking to hear the ghost story of Annie Palmer, the white witch. The grounds are nice and the view is splendid. The building has been nicely refurbished. Had this been the only Great House that we visited, it might have been satisfactory;... More

Worth a visit. The view from the ground is awesome. The house itself is steeped in history and well maintained. The tour operator extremely knowledgable and likeable. A well enjoyed visit. I will go again.

A fascinating attraction with a guide relating the history of Rose Hall and the wicked murders said to have been committed by Mary Palmer who is said to still haunt this previous plantation house. Very atmospheric. Just a pity that payment was expected for a rum punch, although a fruit punch was free.. Very interesting trip
