We went on this tour in the evening and the property was well lite with lights and had a piano and sax player welcoming us in the area where waiters offered light snacks and drinks (I am not sure if this is part of a normal tour as this was a sponsored outing thorough my business meeting). The house is... More

The history and getting to see inside this plantation house were definite pluses, also our guide was very good. I will give top marks for the effort in giving us all a good scare but the size of our group (over 30) meant you could not all get into the rooms so we missed out on seeing what was going... More

All the food at the Grand was good except the cheesecake...they have a little ways to go to feed us Americans cheesecake, that's all I'll say about that.

Went with my husband and we really liked it. Shanise was our guide and she was great!! They take your picture before you go on the tour with the "haunted house" in the background. I despise having my picture taken but the photographer was truly gifted because it came out great! Lol! All in all, fun little tour, that's very... More

We visited during the day. At $20 the entrance fee is quite high. We did enjoy the tour and found it quite informative. The grounds are lovely and the views are spectacular. I would have liked to have heard more about the history of the slave trade in Jamaica in addition to the story of the White Witch.

We visited the Great House at night and enjoyed learning about the white witch and the history of the plantation and home. We had head the tour was scary, but it was tastefully done and was quite interesting. I would not hesitate to bring those who are easily scared or even older children.

The tour provides a history of house and the story of Annie Palmer called the white witch and connection to Johnny Cash later and him writing a song about it. The tour also gives a history of island slavery including the uprising and independence but not as much as expected and could have done more. Beautiful house and great way... More

The tour itself and the story that goes with it are great. The house is wonderful. The stories are made up though. Still a fun attraction.
