After a long walk and informative walk through the spice garden with a guide spend a while to relax at their restaurant. Better still venture there at dusk or night time for a delicious meal and balmy night breeze, be careful however of the pathway to the restsurant at night as it is not well lit. Well worth a visit

We didn't spend long at the gardens but thoroughly enjoyed the short tour. The gardens are really well laid out with a guided tour explaining all of the features.

What a treat to see all those herbs and spices with magical names like ginger, turmeric and nutmeg growing in their natural environment. If you won't get the chance to visit a rainforest then the Spice Garden gives you an impression of what it might be like. There are suggested routes and information boards so it can be as educational... More

It was bigger than I expected but very easy to visit with the map and audio guide provided. They will provide you some mosquito repellent at the entrance but I would suggest to bring more yourself so that you can reapply: it is a tropical garden so there are mosquitos! The variety of plants and spices is quite wide. There... More

the guided tour was ok , not sure maybe it would be better with earphones , it just seemed too quick and a bit of a push in the shop., but skipped us past the Resturant which we may have stopped for a bit to eat and drink. There is a nice beach facing it which we liked , overall ok

Quite pricey (forgot how much 😛) they'll provide a walkie-talkie radio-like thingy which will explain about the flora life there. They'll also provide some oil-based serai to rub all over our body as an insect repellent. I guess it'll be quite interesting for tourists from non-tropical countries as they'll give a good info about some of the tropical flora here.... More

this place is easily accessible by bus (we used the hop-on/hop-off bus), and has a car park opposite if you were to drive. There is also a nice beach over the road so you could spend many hours here. the attraction is set up like a jungle walk with various markers describing the various plants that are planted here. you... It is a few years since we visited, and the new management have worked wonders with the place. Audio guides, guided tours, clear signage and a wonderful range of plants (and of course spices), new washrooms, meeting area and children's play area all demonstrate an attention to quality and an investment in bringing this venue up to the top of... I love this place, it's a beautiful garden and very interesting. If you have the time do the full garden tour with your own audio as the personal tour guide will only take you through the express tour.
