I have been visiting Penang for many years yet this is my first visit to the spice garden never thought much of it. So my first visit will not be my last. It was interesting to see all the spices that you would not think of. Well worth a visit

It's been 3.5 years since my last visit to the Spice Garden and great to see it is still such a good experience. This time travelling with parents (mid 60's) who had never been to a garden of this nature. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging. We were lucky enough to see monitor lizards as well. As we... More

Absolutely one of the best in south east Asia. Very informative audio guided tour, one can just move around freely and enjoy every details of the plants. It's around RM27 for adults, bring around your student ID you'll have an extra discount. You might think that that'll be a little pricey, but after you finish the garden you'll know that... More

Spent a couple hours with friends at this wonderful attraction. Superbly maintained by very knowledgeable ground staff. A must visit while in Georgetown!

The gardens are a pleasant way to spend a few hours. We had a guided tour which was Wally enjoyable. If you love your plants the gardens are well worth the visit. If you're not such a fan the gardens provide a cool respite from the heat. I also bought some local ginger tea and stevia... both quality products. A... More

I visited the Spice Garden with my family earlier this year. The area is really well landscaped and the collection of plants is well curated and varied. The audio narration that they had gave a really good historical background about the different spices to the different plant species. It was a very educational visit. My family had a great time... Love the nature! Especially love the fact that along the walk of this nature park is surrounded by herbs and spices. A very well designed garden. Easy walk with clear, steady paths. A must see if you love nature and taking walks. Audio tour is provided and therefore you will learn a bit more about the different types of herbs... More

I enjoyed my visit to the Spice Garden. It was interesting to see the many different spices growing, and it was situated a short taxi ride from my hotel, the Golden Sands Resort.

I would have given a higher rating as I really liked visiting the garden but our experience at the end was frustrating. The garden is unlike anything I've visited previously. It was interesting to be able to see various herbs and spices that I normally only see already harvested in jars at the supermarket. We paid for the audio guide,... More

Pretty expensive , not very disable friendly especially to go to the Spice shop. The cooking class fees is expensive in consideration of attraction , i think they should lower the fees a little to attract more people for the programme.
