How to get here: bus 101, around 45 minutes from komtar, just look at the left hand side after Batu Ferringhi. Price: 26 RM. 35 RM for guided tour (9am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm) Garden is not really fit it's name,it's more to mini forest, with it's beautiful location across the sea, perfect escape from the heat. I was here... More

Visited this place for some photography. It is an 8-acre spice garden which is lovely for landscape photography. You will also learn about spice trees along the way. Place is cooling and relaxing. Be prepared to do loads of walking as it has an undulating terrain

We came to the Spice Garden during a city tour, I had no idea what it was going to be like. 30RM gets you a sticker and a self-guided tour which is very confusing if you follow the numbers as there are many dead ends, but if you follow the map provided you will be fine. The garden is quite... More

Good place to see the various plants and enjoy the cool environment. Walk on the various trails. Go in the morning where the air is cool and refreshing.

Enjoyable experience. Informative. Relaxing. Interesting to know how tropical spice is grown. Would recommend to friends and family as a must visit in Panang.

We paid for a guide rather than doing the audio tour. We got a knowledgeable, passionate woman. She gave us a great tour including some history of the local spices, current research, and some of the issues farmers are facing on the island. Worthwhile.

took a guided tour around the garden in a small group. It was fascinating to learn, see and smell all the tropical spices and plants here. Was the only place we saw mosquitoes on Penang, but this was no problem as upon arrival you are offered a beautiful fragrant citrus oil to ward the bities away. Highly recommended for anyone... The Tropical Spice Garden should not be missed. Wherever you may be staying on the island it is worth the trip to visit. We arrived at about 11.15am as we understood that there was a guided tour available at 11.30am. However we were immediately introduced to a guide, Raymond, who escorted the two of us on a private guided tour.... More

A must-visit when staying in Batu Ferringhi or nearby. The garden is beautifully landscaped and smells lovely. Included with admission is an audio tour that is a joy to listen to and is very informative. The giant swing was a nice surprise: fun for kids of all ages! I also recommend the restaurant: Thai food with a gorgeous view of... More
