You get a superb view of nainital from here. Going on the horse is another thrill. The trail goes through thick jungle, sometimes you can sight a few wild animals

From Dorothy's Seat, you get a splendid view of the entire town including the world famous Naini Lake. Highly recommended for all visitors to Nainital.

to reach here, you have to take the horse ride, which is the best part of the whole experience; you take horse from Barah Pathar and travel about 4 km along steep mountain and reach here; this is a breathtaking experience; on reaching there, you get a see a panoramic view of Nainital and surrounding hills

I was extremely excited to go on a horse ride up the hill.My horse had a funny name Pawan. We were three people and each one of us enjoyed the ride.the horsemen take you to the top.Coming down is a bit tiring owing to the rocky path.Once you reach the top,the scenic beauty will be a mesmerizing experience for you!

Loved the view from here and enjoyed a good horse ride uphill in Nainital. You can avail a horse ride down from the Flats area and negotiate well with the horse men , they will take you around all the major view points and tourist spots in Nainital.

Take the full trip of the horse ride (cost around 700 Rs), see the pic. Of course u can also go by walk. The horse ride is a great fun allowing you the beautiful view around and also little adventurous. If you have back pain or arthritic then it would be better to avoid. the full horse ride takes you... Definitely should be included in places to cover. However, take horses to climb only if you are are short of time. If you have ample time (3-4 hrs) and little stamina, I'll recommend trekking up on foot so that you can enjoy the views as much and as long as you want and are not bogged to quickly leave. It's a... We visited Tiffin Top also called Dorothy seat in the month of december.. Hired a horse and took a 1:30 hour round trip.. The way is pretty muddy and slippery but was fun given awesome views on the way..
