Well while travelling to Nainitaal it seemed like usual mountain scenery. But when reached Nainitaal , we were astonished to see the serene beauty of the place. Endless 9 Lakes at such height in between the mountains, surrounded by beautiful city -Perfect. Trip to Nainitaal is a lifetime memorable journey and definitely not usual mountain trip.

Nainital, at height of 2000m amsl, is the mos visited hill station in the Kumaon hills in Uttarakhand, India. Known for lakes, natural beauty and mountain tops, it is approx 30 km from Kathgodam Railway station , you can reach by hired taxi. Nearest airport is Pantnagar (57 km), where limited flight operates.

I have been there twice. Take a boat ride in the day, or walk around the lake and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains with the lake in between.

Nainital as a place is good and surrounded by mountains. However the season which i visited was a bit crowded and there was huge line for all the attraction. I would surely come back to next visit in off season to enjoy the beauty.

Nainital is a beutiful hill station. Off-season visit is good due to less crowd. Mall Road itself is beautiful in day or night. Main attraction of the town is the lake where tourist can enjoy boating. Nice place to visit, close to nature.

it may be my personal view but i find Nainitaal better than other hill stations close to Delhi, so i visit it once a year for last 4 years..you can combine it with nakuchiatal, bhimtal or sat-tal and your shopping for woolens can be done in the local market..

One of the most beautiful hill stations in India. Boating experience is simply superb. You can take a stroll on the Mall road or can enjoy shopping at Tibetian market.
