We participated in the gourmet walking tour, and short to say, we had a wonderful experience. The friendly, we'll prepared and incredibly helpful host, Nancy, guided us through the many sights in the wonderful city of sete, introducing us to many of the passionate vendors and craftsmen, that all stood ready offering us a sample of their products. It seemed... More

One of the highlights of our recent trip was the Gourmet Walking Tour of Sete. We visited so many shops and was able to taste something at each stop. We had bread, Roquefort cheese, oysters, fruit, dessert and so much more. Nancy was amazing. Really an experience and one that we will be talking about for years. Thanks Nancy

We only had one day to enjoy Sete and were so glad that we'd booked this gourmet walking tour. Our guide was Nancy and she took our family of 4 on a 3 hour tour of this quaint little town. We tasted the delicious local oysters, rock fish soup, fresh Roquefort Cheese from the nearby caves, bread, pastries and more.... More

Boy did we hit the jackpot! My husband and I were traveling from a week near Carcassone in a rental gite to Marseille To fly home and had several days with no planned itinerary. We decided to try a night in the charming French seaside town of Sete, famous for their water-sport of jousting, more on this later. We found... More

Sete is a small French seaport and has the typical mix of shops, parks and restaurants. What made my visit to the city memorable was the intimate and insightful Gourmet Walking Tour. Our English speaking guide, Nancy, takes great care in guiding her group to visit local merchants who will explain their food products and provide samples. Not only did... More

What a great way to see Sete. After reading reviews on TA I emailed Nancy and booked the tour. We met outside a hotel with 4 others and after a quick introduction we started the walk. We sampled oysters, sausage and gorgeous fresh cherries at the market. Nancy has built a great friendship with the owners of these shops and are... More

My wife and I were the other couple that hitman99 mentions in his review. He pretty much covered it all and did it very well. If you are going to visit Sete, do not miss this deliciously wonderful tour.

We booked this tour after reading about it on TripAdvisor, and were very glad we did. We booked the tour with another couple we met via the Cruise Critic online forum, Roll Call, as we were both passengers on the WIndstar cruise ship "Star Pride". Signing up with Nancy McGhee was painless, requires an advance deposit, with final payment in... More

Fans of great eating and real French coastal culture should really spend three hours exploring Sete, the 'Venice of the Med' at leisurely pace on Nancy's three-hour Gourmet Walking Tour. Meet top-quality merchants and sample splendid produce. Mix skillfully with quirky anecdotes on the town's roots and the experience can't be beaten as a fast-track to get under Sete's skin.... More
