Visited the Dwarkadheesh temple, which is some 2000 years old with lot of expectations. The temple itself is good, wonderfully made. Unfortunately one cannot enjoy the visit as there is no peace and tranquility here. The areas surrounding the temple are not developed to handle large crowds and surely must be chaotic when there are lot of people. The priests... More

Absolutely blissful temple with full of positive vibrations , nearest airport is Porbandar ( birth place of Mahatma Gandhi Ji ) Just by entering in to the temple we will be energized , after having darshan of Shri Dwarakadesh Ji and sit in silence for some time , we will be completely filled with positive vibrations. Must visit for all... More

Excellent temple! Queue into temple is separate for men and women - it moves fast, so its advisable to read a bit about the legends before entering the temple. This homework will let you enjoy the many small temples inside the main shrine. Phones are not allowed inside the temple and there is huge queue at the shoe deposit counter.... More

I would like to inform to all concerned that Jagad/Jagat Mandir Dwarka and the Dwarkadheesh Mandir Dwarka belong to same temple. Some called it as Jagad/Jagat (means universe) Mandir viz mandir of Jagatpati (Lord of Universe) and for other it is Dwarkadhees mandir (Temple of Dwarka). So pl. treat reviews both of these names as of a same temple. Thanks.... More

Dwarkadham is one out of four dhaam of Sanatan dharm followers. It is related to dwapar-yug and is kingdom of Lord Krishan (The Gopal of Brij here is Dwarkadheesh). I feel myself very fortunate that he (Dwarkadheesh) like me so called me several times here. Dwarkadheesh temple is situated on the right bank of river Gomati at its meeting point... More

Quite long and zig-zag roads lead me to this temple. The temple is situated within a big steel made boundary. Inside the boundary, there are lot of small temples. And the center of attraction in this complex, is the temple of Dwarakadhesh (King of Dwarka - Lord Krishna). This temple is magnificent in size but the courtyard just in front... More

check out the timmings of the temple and plan the visiit accordingly. As in the afternoon the temple is close and nothing much to do in the city other than temple visit. Lot of pandyas will apraoch you outside the temple and if you pay some money they will give you direct access to the main temple without making you... More

This temple needs better maintenance by management. There is no clear English sign board for foreigners to show the main entrance to the Dwarakadheesh Temple. The entrance will be on narrow lane through shops in the both sites of the narrow lane. There is locker and shoe keeping service is available once you have entered the main entrance to temple....
