We had a very long return day trip from Hue to the Phong Nha Caves. The bus ride took approximately 4 hours to the caves and 4 hours back to Hue. The outing to the caves via the river and the visit to the cave system was about 3 hours in total. So, unfortunately you spend the most of the... More

It is located near by Paradise cave. It takes about 15-20 minutes by bus between them. To access Phong Nha cave, I have to take a dragon boat. It is so imagine to enjoy seeing landscape with river, moutain.

It's a stunning cave and a really nice boat ride on one of the cleanest rivers I've seen in Vietnam so far. And it's the worlds longest underground river! Respect for the hard working men and women rowing! Worth the trip!

We did not expect much so we were pleasantly surprised. We took a dragon boat to the cave (only way to get there) and the boat trip itself was very nice. The case is very beautiful which was surprising since all we heard before hand was about its usage during the American war. A nice half day trip

This is smaller than Paradise Cave but it is a collection of cave and water so i like it more. it is not big and enough for walking and sightseing.

Nice boat ride to the cave watching river life and scenery on the way. Trip into the cave was pretty good as well, the walk from inside the cave to the exit was the highlight. Good trip but after talking to others on the tour who choose to do the dark cane instead I wish I would have done that... More

I was completely impressed by this national park and these caves. Compared to the rest of the Vietnam tourist circuit, this area has a much less discovered, more authentic feel to it. If you have an adventurous spirit, love nature or are at all into caves, this area is a must-see. Stay at the the Phong Nga Farmstay or at... More

The trip was good. The ticketing was in a bit of a disarray with communication difficulties between the government workers there and the potential tourists. Once it was sorted, everything ran smoothly. It's a very pro-tourist / easy cave. There's no difficulty involved here. I believe pro-handi cap as well. (ramps everywhere and helpful staff to assist if needed). It... More

Unbelievable caves to visit, The Paradise cave is worth travelling to actually quite mind blowing and a hidden treasure. The walk up is quite hard you can either climb 600 steps or walk a zig zag track!! This area is still off the tourist radar go before the secret is revealed!!!
