It feels like you have been transported to a completely different world with a smooth flowing river, some drastic lighting and the eerie soulful ambient music. The cave is beautiful and makes you gape in awe of nature. Be careful while walking in the cave though. I was so enthralled with the roof of the cave that I ended up... More

Fascinating for Vietnam War history buffs as well as for admirers of natural beauty and landscape. But be sure to read up on the history.

These caves are spectacular and certainly worth a visit. Paradise Cave is well presented with good walkways and lighting. Photographs cannot do justice to the magnificent stalagmites and stalactites which are on view. The caves are located in beautiful country side. We went there on a tour from Phong Nha Farmstay. Not to be missed.

First visited the cave in 1990 since then the cave was lit with some garish lighting, am now glad to see the use of white lighting.

The Phong Nah caves are really beautiful. The boat ride down the river toward the caves is stunning the villages beside the limestone mountains then you enter the caves. The caves are well kept and nicely lit and spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Quick boat ride to Phong Nha Cave from the tourism centre, and a short walk out of the cave. Well conducted and the cave is well lit in the right places.

I only had the pleasure of visiting the Phong Nha Cave (missed out on Paradise and Dark caves), but it is truly spectacular and well worth the journey. We hired a moto for 200,000 Dong from Dong Hoi and rode to the national park ourselves. To visit the cave you must take a boat from the town before the cave.... More

A sweet ride down the river into a pretty unique cave. The river current runs quickly and you enter the cave in utter amazement. Afterwards you can walk around the interior and up towards a 'temple' of sorts. Cold water bottles await (for a price). A great 2-3 hour venture for all ages.

Did the Tu Lan 2 day adventure with Oxalis - fantastic scenery, hard hike in the humidity but well worth the efforts. Guide and porters were helpful and informative.
