It was just a wow experience for me. I can not describe this cave with words rather tell you to visit this place if you are in central Vietnam. I would say, its a "must-go" kind of place while traveling Vietnam.

Spectacular place to take the kids. A relaxed boat ride to the cave and followed by an exploration underground on foot and by boat. A lot of history to the cave as well.

As my title said, do not book this (or Paradise cave) as a day trip from Hue! It is an absolute nightmare day...picked up at 7am and didnt get back until 10pm! Cold, uncomfortable bus for 10 hours of the day! The cave itself was nice, really well lit and a good combination of river tour and walking! We had... More

Very awesome journey to the center of the earth, or so it may seem. Parts may be a bit difficult to traverse for the handicapped, but very worthwhile for anyone who can make the trip. The cave is extraordinary.

Amazing, beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, magnificent. I'm sure I'm hyping it up too much for someone who's going to go and think it's just amazing, or just beautiful, and not all the adjectives I just used, but I think the few words I used to describe it couldn't possibly do it justice, nor do I think photos could. As a nature... More

The caves and surroundings are just spectacular! I absolutely loved going around the 3 caves - Phong Nha, Paradise and Dark cave. They are all quite different but if you only have a day choose between Phong Nha and paradise. Phong Nha is explored by boat which is tranquil and beautiful. Paradise cave has incredible rock formations with the opportunity... More

We visited 3 caves. Excellent, all of them. We visited paradise cave and dark cave on a single tour, was fantastic. More fun than expected. We also visited phong nha cave on our own steam so to speak sharing a boat with some travellers and Vietnamese. Makes for a better costing visit but does put some pressure on the visit... More

You can really do three caves in a day. Start at 8:30AM, go to the tourist center in town and by your tickets for Phong Nha, a boat and Tien Son (it's right above Phong Nha). 80,000 - Phong Nha 40,000 - Tien Son 320,000-350,000 - Boat (we had 5 people on ours so it helped with the cost) Eat... This attraction was one of the only things in 6 weeks of Vietnam that looked like it took real money to create. The construction of the walkways and stairs through the cave and the ticketing area clearly required a major investment. It was almost a shock to my system after getting accustomed to things being a bit schlocky. I can't... More

Don't miss the Dark Cave when you vist Phong Nha. You cross the river with a zipline, trek and swim through a pitch dark cave with only a headlamp to guide you and end up "swimming" in a pool of mud. Then cross the river agan on a kayak before rinsing the mud off by repeatedly dropping into the river... More
