The Thiên Đường – or Paradise cave (about 60 km north of Dong Hoi) is by far the most spectacular cave I have ever visited. Actually this area keeps many of the most magnificent caves known on the planet. Although I visited only few of those caves I found Paradise Cave by far the grandest and can hardly imagine to... The caves are amazing and big.. Lot of lights inside what made the experience a little bit touristic.. Sadly I couldn't make a trek in the caves because of the cold.. But everything together, an amazing day!!

I kinda liked this cave. The cave itself was awesome. U have to see it for yourself. Only thing sad is some tourist love to touch the stalagmites. Wish it was managed better

Spend a few days here and do all the caves. Paradise cave is beautiful (though you have to climb 519 steps to get to it) and it's worth doing the 7km guided trek for the experience of walking on the cave floor by the light of your torches alone. The Dark Cave adventure activities are fun but try to go... More

The total experience in exploring this cave by gondola type transportation was truly spectacular. Although we didn't penetrate the 8 km of waterways into the cave, the couple of km gave us an amazing insight to the scenic views and buildup lime formations, blending with water and sandy beaches. This and the Paradise caves should be a definite visit and... More

Fantastic formations of stalactite and stalagmites. All lit by white light so does not detract from the incredible variety. Being paddled silently along was magical

We went up to the boat ticket place near town center as a group of three and found four other people to join our group, significantly reducing the boat fee for our trip to both the Phong Nha and Tien Son caves. It was a nice boat ride and walking around was awesome! Beautiful, cavernous caves and a good time... More

Having visited Paradise caves only a day before and reading guide books describing gaudily lit caves, we weren't expecting a great experience. You need to travel by boat to get to the caves from Phong Nha. The boat is a set price of 3600000 Dong or there abouts, and carries up to 14 people. You can hire it for 1... More

It was a beautiful boat trip on the water before entering the spectacular caves. We had no expectations before entering and were so pleased we made the visit. It does seem a little expensive compared to other tourist sites (so see if you can ride in with another group while in the payment queue and share a boat if there... More
