Quite close to the zoo in Gangtok, this is a place of worship that also offers excellent views. Can be covered as a part of half a day local sightseeing in Gangtok, hiring a vehicle, with this place as the first attraction to start off the visit with.

I like the temple - it's different, it new in the sense of modern and not novelty but its lovely to climb up the stairs to get to the temple, pray really quietly, shop at the store downstairs and then enjoy the view. It's surroundings make up for its lack of antiquity value.

do not miss this point on your tour. its a small and neat temple, but the serenity of the place stands out. you can feel the chill of the weather sink into you as you stand facing the nature. I like the way the place is taken care off, parking place available, close to the zoological park

You can enjoy a Nice view of Kanchenjunga and Gangtok city from here. it's a temple. You should go there early morning. Kanchenjunga peeks may covered with fog and cloud after sun rise.

A place where not only you should go for the temple, but it is a wonderful place to view the magnificent Kanchenjunga. But one should try to visit it early halves of the day as the snow covered peaks are not visible at later part of the day.
