Offered an amazing view of the mountainous Gangtok city. The temple is a small one but situated at a small hill top and we climbed up the stairs to reach towards the amazing view. Enjoyed clicking family pictures too.

Beautiful place to see gangtok city view. Temple of Lord Ganesha adds to the beauty. Try wearing sikkimeese costumes available on rent at the base for photography.

Ganesh Tok is on the route of Nathula Pass. It is a small temple with clean and calm atmosphere. Overall a good visit.

During our three week stay in April/May it was very cloudy unfortunately - mostly caused by pollution. For best view of mountains go in September/October. We had fortunately been to India before and have seen Himalayas in all their splendour. But many people were disappointed as we just had occasional glimpses of the mountains.

well the view is the same from all around, the mandir is no different and all we did was photo shoot in traditional dress...for the more devout, it is a definite go-go.

to see the mighty Kanchanjunga moutain which is the 3rd highest peak in the world is something that is out of this world. you get a great view from this point. you can also see the whole of Gangtok from here. a night drive up here has its own chills and beauty.

Not a great place , Just the view is good from this place, Ganesh Mandir is there that's why it is named as Ganesh Tok other then that there is nothing much at this place. Afraid won't have much photos to share as we lasted only few mins over there. For lunch you can have a stop at Tashi view... More

Ganesha Tok View point is excellent view point where you can enjoy the scenic beauty. However its very crowded place. Local vendors will push you to capture photos wearing local dresses. However you should avoid visiting this place on cloudy days. You wont see anything except clouds.

I had been here twice and the view was always beautiful. There is a Ganesh temple located nearby. You can have a birds eye view of sprawling Gangtok town down below. We also tried few Sikkimese costumes and we were delighted to feel their culture.
