In England it was snowing but 4 hours away we were wandering around this lovely old harbour watching the various types of craft leaving and entering in nice warm sunshine wearing just shorts and T shirts. Take a drink in one the many bars and cafes. Quite idyllic.

Whilst staying in Playa de las Americas in January 2015 I had a lovely walk to Los Cristianos. This is an attractive harbour with lovely shops, terraces, restaurants and hotels. This would be a good location for a family holiday

The promenade is lovely to walk along, we spent a pleasant day by the harbour and would definitely return. There are plenty of bars and places to eat, however we didn't stop at any so can't rate the food quality. Was lots of lovely views, and the beach was nicer than Las Vistas.

We have walked along the promenade to the harbour a number of times while on holiday in Los Christianos and must say it is very pleasant. The beach is of a good standard and is well used. There are plenty of bars and eateries along the way and it is nice to see the fish in the crystal clear waters... More

Easy to cross to La Gomera, El Hierro or La Palma. La Gomera is 1-hr with Armas or Fred Olsen with several sailings a day, costing E55-60 return, also offering discount for students and seniors. The harbour is pretty with all the sailsing and fishing boats and there is a very nice sandy beach and swimming area.

This is a better location than Las Vistas because of easy access to many more restaurants, bars and shops. All the roads lead down to the harbour beach and ferry terminal from Los Cristianos. The promonade goes south towards the Arona Gran Hotel and north (thru the tunnel past Las Vistas) towards Playa de las americas. There is a buzz... More
