A beauty spot

A great walk to Laganos, chill out in one of their restaurants and its just a couple of euros on the bus back, or grab a cab.

Just one walk on the beach left me with sticky oil tar all over my new trainers which was extremely difficult to remove and I didn't risk the beach a second time.

this kind of beach is good for child, as it is shallow long entry, different cafes nearby, some shops. But I like more hiding places with beautiful nature and reefs

We went for a walk along this beach (end of April) and both me and my friend stood in TWO dog poos. I wouldn't bother going to Zante for the beaches - would rather go to Devon and know it will be clean!

lovely beach with stunning views and the occasional turtle! Occasional aeroplane over head but it added to the charm funnily enough. Very clean.

We spent about 2 weeks in Porto Roma last September and have visited some of the beaches near Porto Roma. The best of all is the Banana beach (or Spianza): wide, sandy with smooth sandy access into the sea, shallow for c. 30 meters. There are patches of sunbeds+umbrellas alternating with free sand where you can put your own towel... More

The beach is lovely but there is not a lot around. If you walk to Laganas you will pass the turtle breeding area. 30 minute walk, lovely sand and seas.

This is a long straight beach which can be accessed by a beach/sea paddle all the way to/from Laganas. Vet romantic with the hills in the background, and beautiful clean sea. Sand is soft and clean and this is a great walk at the end of the day.

We spent 2 weeks in Kalamaki staying at the Roseland hotel which is about a 5 min walk from the beach. When we had a day down the beach we hired the sunbeds infront of the Kalamaki Beach Taverna, but get there early as the sun worshipers were on them at the crack of dawn! We used to get down... More

Lovely clean beach, shallow water, no waves, turtle eggs are protected so no jet skis or speed boats, great for relaxing, sun beds and umbrellas available but you can't put up your own because of the eggs
