Great architecture and internal decoration and very well preserved for a building 500 years old. Has a rich and warm interior decor with some magnificent ceiling paintworks. 6€ entrance fee and well worth it. It closes at 1.30 for lunch and reopens at 4pm in the summer so time your visit accordingly a apart from the few cafes Gsndia seems... More

Except for its glorious beaches, Gandia is not the prettiest town in the Spain, but this Palau is an absolute gem of a find. I was the only visitor when I undertook my exploration of the palace, so I could wander around at leisure and marvel at how well-kept up it is. A pretty special experience to get a good... More

The exceptional restoration of the Ducal Palace allows us to marvel at the workmanship, particularly the Golden Gallery with its paintings, ceiling and floors, the design of which is to have the visitor start at the more secular of the Galley's length into religious. The finale is the circular mosaic floor at the end, which is representational of the four... More

The palace and items within were well presented and the staff were willing and able to explain everything in English. Definitely worth a 90 minute visit if you are in Gandia.

Gandia served up a surprise delight in the Borja Palace. The history of the Borgias is pretty bloodthirsty and murderous. Their influence on society at the time was dramatic.

It was interesting and you can have headphones in different languages. No photos allowed although I did take a sneaky one or two! You can do a tour of various places in the city.

Gandia is not on the regular tourist trail, but a detour to see this spectacular palace is a very worthwhile trip. It's not as large as some, but gives a great sense of the power that the Borgia's had. everything is beautifully maintained - the staff are expert and even the gift shop sells souvenirs way above the average

We joined this evening tour of the palace when we saw it advertised on the door of the palace. We didn't know what to expect but were delighted with the whole experience. Our guide Gabriel was excellent and led us through the Borgia palace into private areas not usually open to the public as well as the rooms normally part... More
