This is a wonderful design on a great property with excellent narrow fairways and fine greens. In December, the rough is very wet, many leaves and with the trees and narrow fairways, it is best to abandon balls early and just play on. The StrokeSaver is integral to a first time play as there is very much strategy especially several... More

Ab absolutely amazing experience to play two rounds at Valderrama Golf Club. This is the home of 1997 Ryder Cup, home of 4 VOLVO Masters, and two Amex Championships Greens were fast, caddies were great. Glad we were not playing off the Blacks!

Great experience to play this course. The condition of the course is phenomenal. However there is an atmosphere that makes you feel as if sometimes you're not that welcome. There a few restrictions for non members, for example after you've paid your €350 green fee you are still not allowed to use the practice bunker. And to be honest the... More

If you like golf then Valderrama should be on your bucket list. Save up and play. It's actually worth it. Amazing conditions, super service and a course that will give you a challenge on any shot.

Wow!!! If you're a golfer you need to play here. We played in September 2015, and throughly enjoyed the round. The same as Pebble Beach and other historic golf courses, try not to think too much about the cost of the round and just enjoy the layout and the views. Both are top notch. The trees frame the course beautifully... More

Par on hole 17! What a rush and having at least that experience with me from my "can't-find-enough-words" visit at this famous and fantastic place! Impeccable service in regards to golf and an alright restaurant to cool down with glass of champagne after a round of challenging golf! Hope or more correctly must come back!

Very good golf course with some excellent holes in very good condition. Some really standout holes but a green fee of 300 euros I expected more. The club house was ok and the staff friendly but again I expected more. So if it's on your bucket list give it a go but you may feel a little let down.

The course is magnificient. The ambience of the course and clubhouse monastic. The interior was recently 'upgraded' to a souless modern style. The service varies from non-existent( I have played twice and arrived at the clubhouse to find both bar and restaurant closed!!!)to just ok. Smiles are hard to come by and I have lost count of the times that... More

But what top golf course isn't? Played in a tournament here and suffice to say none of us played to our hc. It is very tough and the greens are unbelievably fast. One of my partners putted his ball off the 17th green into the pond. But you have to play at least once in your life. So go.

Even for people who do practice golf... The maintenance of the greens and surroundings is outstanding.
