It was a dream to visit Malapascua. Although the typhoon hit the island last November, I did not give up hope but to continue my journey at Evolution Diving. David Joyce has been a great host. His staffs are all very friendly, approachable and extremely helpful. They will always remember your name. The room are great - they are clean... More

Malapascua Island is breathtaking. If you're tired of the crowded beaches (like Boracay), Malapascua is a refreshing and quiet alternative. After Haiyan (typhoon Yolanda), the island is again operational, the people are back on their feet and have rebuilt most of their homes and businesses. The Evolution dive resort is situated at the end of the beach and away from... More

I was planning on visiting Malapascua and finally realising the ambition of seeing Thresher sharks and from the outset Evolution was perfect. I have broken my experience down to 3 main elements. First, communication. I emailed multiple times to ask a gazillion question re diving, accommodation, best way to get there on a budget etc etc and Matt replied uber... More

Evolution Diving on Malapascua is a highly professional and well organized dive shop. After Yolanda, the incredibly strong typhoon in November 2013, everyone on the island is keen on rebuilding and it's amazing to see what devotion everyone puts into this. Visit Malapascua, go diving, see the beautiful thresher sharks and support the people on that lovely island! Nearby Craic... More

We've just spent 4 fabulous days with Evolution Diving on Malapasua Island. They are a shining star of how a small dive resort should be run. From arranging the booking and transfers to the Island (don't arrange your own - it's not worth the hassle). To the moment we stepped onto the fantasically Holiday Brochure beach at their front door.... More

I´m a PADI Divemaster and have been travelling and diving in quite a lot of different places. I still got stunned by the professionalism and competent dive instructors at Evolution! I couldn't recommend them more. I took my TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures at Evolution and couldn´t be any happier about the level of education I received. Many thanks... More

Second time visiting Malapascua and using Evolution. They impressed me the first time that I decided to stay in their newly built accommodations. From planning to finished, Evolution were great. Planning: Matt was attentive to my emails and prompt in replying. I glossed over a few trip items but Matt brought them to my attention to make sure all my... More

We arrived at Malapascua on friday 21/2.. We stayed there until wednesday 26/2 and during that time we had great diving around the island. Early in the morning we went out to dive with treshersharks, and for me that was a bit speciell because it was my first meeting with sharks. A great experience! The nightdive showed us the wonderful... More

I booked a few tech courses with Evolution and hit the ground running, hard, tiring and busy schedule... Anything less would not have been worth it. As my title says I was to busy with drills to notice narcosis!! Credit to David and Matt for running a fantastic resort. I went to Evolution for the training, the diving and of... More
