We did the Tulum Extreme tour (me, wife, 15 yr old daugher, 13 year old son). Left hotel around 8 a.m. and got back at 4 p.m. Ziplining was great with an amazing view of the enormous surrounding jungle. Scariest part is climbing the tower - zipping down is tame. The rapelling is off of a wood tower and you... more

We were recently in the Riviera Maya and were lucky enough to have been told about Aventuras Mayas prior to our visit. We contacted this company when we arrived and scheduled a tour with them called the Tulum Xtreme. This tour consisted of a trip to the Tulum Ruins (breath taking, hot and beautiful), a zip trek tour over the... more

My friends and I wanted to go on a snorkeling excursion during our recent trip to Playa Del Carmen. I have been on the Morning Glory snorkeling tour and wanted something different and Mayan Adventure came through! We booked our tour through Apple Vacations and were picked up from the hotel right on time. We were in a 14 passenger... more

What you don't know before you go is the 1st snorkeling event involves .75 miles snorkeling out to what was rather rough seas and another .75 miles back. My 50 year old husband's life vest ruptured in the seas end and he was being swept away while our guide was focused with his face in the water and not keeping... more

The Mayan Adventures tour with Mundo as a guide was fabulous! Mundo was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting and was sensitive to those who had physical needs and couldn't swim or were unable to wear the appropriate gear. I was so impressed with how him and how he let the group dictate pretty much what we wanted... more

The tour starts by the tour guide ( hopefully you get Hugo, he was AWESOME!) picking you up at your hotel around 7:30am and heading down to Tulum (approx. 1hr & 15mins) and going on a 15min guided tour with time to spend exploring or swimming in one of the most gorgeous beaches. They have shopping and food so be... more

Wanted to zipline with my wife and 3 sons. Considered Selvatica at the recommendation of friends, but chose Tulum Extreme since zipline, rappeling, Tulum and cenote all for the same price. Jorge gave an informative tour of Tulum. Jose was very experienced at rappeling, ziplining and snorkeling in the cenote - we felt safe at all times. They were both... more

We took this excursion from our hotel at Iberostar and we could not have been happier. The final leg of the tour was quite exhausting, so if you are not is decent shape, this may not be for you. Yet, everything we saw was extrodinary. Three locations in one day, decent lunch, and the guide was excellent. Noel: we were... more

My 19-year-old son and I did the Tulum Extreme as our first tour in the Yucatan. It was awesome! The Tulum ruins were interesting, and we are glad we spent time there. We have both done ziplines before. These are very nice and the guides maintain a safe protocol. The rapelling setup was also very nice. The guides are very... more

We booked this tour at our hotel as the Mayan Adventure. Our two children 4 and 7 years old have been snorkeling before and so we included them in this adventure. In all, we were a party of 7 with 5 adults. Three adults had never snorkeled. We started out by visiting a private Cenote which included a short zipline... more
