I suppose I am a little biased against Xel-Ha because we had spent the previous day in X-Caret and the first half of the day baking our heads off in the ruins of Tulum. However, it does have its merits. Pros: 1) All-Inclusive includes unlimited food and drinks 2) Towels can be rented for free 3) Snorkel area looks much... More

We took our kids there when they were much smaller, and the place has REALLY changed! The food is EXCELLENT, especially the Mexican place. Not the fajita place, but the Mexican buffet/thatched roof place. OMG they had Cochinitas Pibil tacos, I could have spent the entire week there! GREAT Margaritas there, better than at our resort! They've expanded the lazy... More

I had been to Xel-Ha before, but this time I wanted to take my husband cause I knew he would love this place and he did! I highly recommend paying for the package that includes the bus ride to Xel-Ha and back to your hotel cause this place is not close to anything. I suggest take the lazy river on... More

Let me start by saying that this was my second time attending this park. The first time was 18 years ago before kids and my family. The park was beautiful, BACK THEN! We have snorkeled in several places around the world including the Great Barrier Reef and we were excited to bring our 10 & 7 year old here for... More

Took my two kids last week & we loved this place! Lots of great snorkeling & the kids LOVED the rope obstacle course. It's great that admission comes with all you can eat & drink, snorkels, towels. Bring water shoes. Lots of walking.

We visited in July 2014 and arrived by private car service. (No need, there are taxis everywhere.) The place is well put together and clean, very professional. That said, it is expensive. $90 gets you in the door for the privilege to snorkel , ride some tubes, and take a few tame zip lines. Almost everything else costs you extra,... More

One day is not enough, really enjoyed the scuba and snorkeling, was able to see stingray and lots of fish. Great time on the zip bike with views of cenotes!
