Xel-Ha is a great fun place for families. The snorkelling is great and you can go into a Mayan cave - very exciting. You can zip wire into the water - exhilarating. My favourite bit was going in an inflatable 'chair' down the river, starting out at mangroves. It is also great just to walk around and see the wildlife... More

I visited with friends. The park is nice enough with lots to do, however you need to be here for the whole day to make it worth while, especially as the queues for the all inclusive food as endless. Everyone seems to spend the whole day eating, which makes it hard if you want to quickly pick up a bottle... More

Spent a day in Xel Ha and it was so much fun.. It was a very efficient operation, great service everywhere and spotlessly clean. The river was a bit crowded at the top but still fun. We did it all, cliff jumping, zip lining, snorkelling, eating and a drink at the end.you have to wear biodegradable sunscreen so if you... More

Our family of 6 (18 yr, 15, 13, and 9) went on April 20 to Xel Ha. This place is spectacular! The river at the start of the bay is amazing through a mangrove tunnel. The snorkel areas are good with a variety of fish. Clarity in the bay was fair when we went due to stronger winds than normal... More

Xel ha is a huge natural waterpark. We arrived at 11ish and it was very busy and confusing, we put all our valuables in the locker and set off to the river to do that first. It was a pretty long walk of which some of it could be done on bike or on a bus. The bikes had no... More

This was another fun day out, full of natural swimming lagoons, zip wires across the water, rope swings and snorkelling there is something for everyone. Food in the restaurants was pretty average but well organised and easy to get around. Particularly loved the turtle sanctuary full of tiny green turtles which are then released into the ocean. Would recommend.

Went to Xel-ha in May of 2014 and guess I never entered my review. I truly believe this place is a must see. We spent a great part of the day taking the river down and snorkeling, but so much to do. Food was great, drinks were great, and all the trails and zip lines were so much fun. Didn't... More

My favorite place to snorkel, but the water was a bit cloudy this trip. I recommend going back to the small coves and you'll see lots of fish in clear water. Other activities available as well and lots of food choices, though we chose to stay in the water and enjoy the snorkeling after a quick lunch.
