In the royal city of Patiala, this shrine is a must visit. There is usually a moderate rush of people. Car parking is a few metres ahead on the left. Avoid parking on main road as it causes inconvenience. The prasad or the offering is available at many shops, but it is highly advisable to avoid the sacks and stall... More

Kali temple in Patiala is the very oldest temple. It is very rush on all the Saturdays. The Mall road where it is situated is closed for cars and buses due to heavy rush. People from near by villages come to visit the temple for worship. Wines are served to Goddess Kali Mata Ji.

This is one of the few temples of Goddess Kali in northern India. It's quite huge. What makes it unique is the fact that wine/whisky is offered to the goddess here in the temple. I have not seen this in many temples.
