This castle has a rich history and remained in quite good condition as for another Ukrainian castles. I was impressed by this castle and special spirit of this place. If you visit it, you have to try local food in a castles yard cafe and take a lesson of firing from bow and crossbow. You can also visit a museum... More

Undeniably the most beautiful and interesting place in the town. Initially built in XIV century (or even as early as XI century) as a stronghold of that-day Podil Principality (Kniazivstvo). Significantly re-built in XVII century – at that moment this part of Ukraine was owned by Poland. What to expect: • You will see a beautiful well-renovated fully-stone castle and... More

Great atmosphere of the middle ages, and very beautiful view. I advise you to take an excursion to learn the history of the castle and the period in which it was built and developed.

Altogether, looks too modern for its age. Too hot in summer :-) Some interesting activities inside. Better take a guided tour.

The road to Kamenet's Podilskiy is just terrible. Driving there, I was second guessing my self if it is worth of it. It definitely was. Besides Castle, explore surroundings, go zip-line, and just relax. There is not much hotels on the expedia, but there few of good quality next to the castle, from $15-50 per night

One of few castles in Ukraine in quite good shape. There are dungeons to enter, towers to go up to, and souvenir shops to get some magnets. I love this castle. It's beautiful from inside and outside. And the view from the castle is breathtaking.

Dating back apparently to Kievan Rus for the first fortifications in town, this fortress was built by a Lithuanian prince. Later, it was operated by the Poles and the Turks. Once also a prison, the fortress is in remarkable shape. I like the Ukrainian government take care of this fortress as we drove simply to see it and the town... More
