We visited Sea World on 30 November and were hugely disappointed upon our arrival to discover that the Monorail wasn't working and was done for maintenance. My husband, daughter and I went to see world in early November, purchased tickets from NRMA before we left which cost $170.00. We enjoy Sea World more than the other theme parks as it is not just rides. We have been there 4 times now. The seal show is great, this year we had a good view of the polar bears for the first time, they were hiding the other times, ray reef was great being able to pat the stingray and... more

Just enjoyed an almost three-hour cruise with the Sea World team in a new purpose built and very ideal for the role 24 metre boat - state of the art and very comfortable and very safe. A top day with awesome close up (could have almost touched the whales) experiences interacting with large southern humpback whales and just 3-5nm off... more

We have been here a few times but there were some new things here. We wanted a relaxing day that wasn't running from ride to ride and lining up for hours. If you don't have anything else to do in Australia -- then this might be one way to spend a day.
