My husband and I enjoyed the Stradbroke Island trip, taken on a Saturday. The weather was perfect which went a long way towards our enjoyment. Boat trip from Marina Mirage was comfortable and staff very friendly and entertaining. The boat was probably about 3/4 full. BBQ lunch was delicious and plentiful. Thought the $18 cocktails were a bit expensive. We... More

My family of 4 booked this cruise as a different way of seeing the area. I'm not a fan of boats and the captain was very reassuring and understanding. Not overcrowded at all, as some reviews report. Plenty of seating, plenty of room out the front of the boat outside or upstairs. The commentator was really annoying though. Nothing funny... More

Booked on grabone for $112. Basically is was a large catamaran boat, filled with as many people as poss. 50 min journey to south stradbrook island and lunch which was salad and meat / fish. No bread as ran out. Absolute rip off in my eyes. Did get a free soft drink on way back, but they had run out... More

Terrible experience with too many people on the boat and consequently on the beach. We could not see the "free equipments" as they were barely 2 boards for over 100 persons. The lunch is just wrong, with a long queue and staff serving you minimum food as quickly as possible. Waste of time.

Booked whale watching on their small boat but arrived on the day to be informed it isn't operating and could only go on the large vessel they had. Reluctantly I did. WHAT A MISTAKE !! I Would NEVER take the big boat out again to see whales. Too crowded. Can't see the whales if sitting at the back of the... More

Absolutely loved the whale watching cruise, the crew were so hilarious i would pay just for the comedy show. We had a great day, spotted a record number of whales just 2 kms off the coast. Fast boat, Loads of muffins , coffee and a great crew. Well done guys. Thoroughly recommend it. I did read the other reviews before... More

The whale watching cruise was a part of our package from the hotel we stayed in. We arrived on time only to be told that we had to transfer our printed boarding pass to actual tickets. This required us to walk to the other end of the marina to get these. On our boarding pass there was no note of... More

This trip was a free add on to our morning whale watch cruise - we just had to pay $30 each for lunch. The trip out took a lot longer than expected, but the commentary was very interesting. The crew are pretty hard case - very laid back Aussies that multi task.... Your bar tender on the boat becomes your... More

The cruise was a decent ride, with option to sit inside or outside. There was some nice views on the way. Lots of activities to do on the island, but most of these you needed to pay for. We had a go on the segways which were a lot of fun, and also played ping pong for a good half... More

It was a waste of time to spend a day at the island with nothing to do. No dart board provided although it was stated on their website. Other activities like parasailing and segway is additional cost. If you want parasailing, suggest to join another company which does it. No wallaby to feed as well. Better to spend time elsewhere...
