My family and I were visiting from Canada and took the Sea World cruise for whale watching. The boat is absolutely beautiful, none like it, spotless and also air conditioned. Staff is excellent, courteous and very knowledgeable. Before you even see the whales, as you head out to sea, you encounter a beautiful view of the gold coast sky line,... More

My parents were visiting the Gold Coast in July and after taking them to the Hinterland and up to Q1, I thought it would be nice to take them to sea too! I checked all the Tripadvisor reviews for Whale Watching on the GC and decided to go with Sea World. My dad is quite a large man in height... More

Great boat ,lovely staff. We went when the weather was a bit rough.but still enjoyed it. Not as much sightings as we would of hoped. but we did see a mother and calf. Need a good camera with zoom. Make sure you hang on with both hands if the weather is rough. If it is rough on the day you... More

We wanted to see the whales and SeaWorld offered a great deal with a whale watching trip and 1 day admission to the park for a great price. The SeaWorld boat I thought was brand new and I was told it was five years old. I couldn't believe it. Lots of room to move around and never seemed crowded. Saw... More

excellent value for money. Crew very friendly, knowledgable. Watched a whale and her calf for over an hour. Crew member took some great photos of the baby breaching several times. Very eco friendly boat.

Brilliant Show, kids enjoyed their pirates rides and got wet in the end. A wonderful experienced, accessible to the monorail ride to all events.

Went into this with fairly low expectations but ended up really enjoying it. Went with a 5 and 7 yr olds - and found the trip was really about the right length (not too long) and were lucky enough to see plenty of whales on the day we did it. Was always the annoying group photo thing they try to... More

What a bouncy ride with everybody hanging on for dear life as the chase begins. Darting from sighting to sighting I can imagine how Captain Ahab felt as he chased the white whale. No harpoons but cameras clicking away. Ensure you have a telephoto lens as on this occasion they did not come close to the boat. Never the less... More

Forget the theme parks, this is the best ride on the coast. The vessel is first rate and immaculately clean, staff lovingly cleaning as they wandered about if they saw so much as a smudge! The experience was great from the informative narration to the sighting of numerous whales, dolphins and flying fish. The captain went above and beyond skillfully... More
