This had everything one would expect. The shows were awesome and the staff friendly. The only thing that I had issues with was that adults could go on the Junior driving cars on their own that were way to small for them yet I could not take my 2yo on them. Most of the rides were not suited to young... More

Going back to Movie World was a bit disappointing this time around. This was our 3rd time in a few years and there isn't much that has changed. There didn't appear to be as many movie characters walking around as in previous times and the queues were very long as usual.

I love Movieworld but the thing that spoilt our trip was waiting over an hour and a half in the lines just to get in! It is school holidays and they only had half the ticket booths open so hundreds of families had to queue in the hot sun to be processed for their tickets. Poor job Warner Bros. Otherwise... More

I liked our visit to Movie World and especially loved the Harry Potter gift shop. It was no Universal Studios but certainly worth a visit every so often. I did love the stunt car show. That was amazing!

This is another of our favourite theme parks at the Gold Coast (DreamWorld is our other favourite). It's great for everyone, with lots of rides and shows for all ages. The older kids purchased an express pass which you can get for either a full day for $60 or 1.5 hrs for $20. The cheaper option only covers 4 rides... More

We took the three grandchildren aged 2, 4 & 5 on our special deal yearly pass tickets. The gates opened at 9:30am and the rides opened at 10:00am. I suggest if you have little ones to check on their website as all the rides have height restrictions. All three children were able to ride the Justice League 3D ride, they... More

It was excellence but the queues were loooonnngg hence I recommend getting a VIP pass if you can otherwise you spend lots of time in queues. The characters Sylvester and Daffy were great and scoot and shaggy too not all the characters were there but most were. The rides weren't as many though...

Don't bother if your expectation is to visit 'movie world' ie the place where they make movies . It is a straight out second rate theme park with no relation to the industry whatsoever with the exception of merchandise . So many opportunities lost to show case the industry . If show rides are not your thing there is an... More

I visited with masters 8 and 6. Master 6 is only just 110cm so I had to go on the rides with him. Under 110cm means they can't go on many rides. You need to be over 140vm to go on everything. The Green Goblin and the Arkam Asylum were closed. The Scooby ride was shut down a few times.... More

Quite a few rides although two major rides were closed without notification outside prior to entry and there were areas being renovated. Excellent rides for little kids as well as older but long queues. Not so much for tweens. They have fast track passes for $60 each all day. These are great but they should be accommodating all people rather... More
