We hired our own motor boat for 3 hours, drove out into the bay, found our own private cove, where we moored up for half an hour. Floated around desperately looking for a turtle. I so wanted to see one in its natural habitat. We drove around Marathonisi and moored up on the beach. Couldn't resist buying an ice cream... More

We stopped here on a turtle spotting boat trip for an hour. Most of the others on the boat stayed near the floating beach bar but we strolled further afield and found a very beautiful area of beach. Very romantic and beautiful spot for a few photos.

Took a small cruise to this island and saw the famous loggerhead 🐢 turtles. We then visited turtle island with its crystal clear waters. If you only do one thing whilst visiting zante this is it.

Stopped off at Turtle island on a day trip. Was surprised by the amount of coastline we covered and really enjoyed seeing the island by a different method. The tour was very informative about the loggerhead turtles and their nesting sites. Thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Whatever you do during your stay in Zakynthos, make sure you fit in a boat trip to the blue caves and Marathonissi Islands. I used the Manthos company, who even though I was 15 minutes late, they still drove me to another pickup point themselves as it was the last of the day and it was my last day on... More

This is a must to do when in Zante! Went out with Thomson and paid more but had a fabulous cruise and saw four turtles. The water is so clear and blue it's amazing. The three swim stops were brilliant. On way back we were involved in a turtle rescue as turtle had become caught in fishing net. The crew... More
