This underwater sightseeing trip wouldn't work just anywhere, but is perfect for Fuerteventura's crystal clear, fish filled waters. A great alternative to snorkelling, it allows you to experience "swimming with the fishes" without getting wet. I'd probably suggest that if you are going snorkelling anyway, it isn't really worth it, but definitely would recommend for families with kids.

Me and my partner went on a 15 minutes trip on the Oceanarium Explorer followed by a kiss with the seal. The concept of the boat was good, and we had some large silver fish following us as we went out to sea (or around the harbour). But the silver fish were about all we saw. The sea was clear... More

Great way of seeing the underworld if you can't dive or swim. Able to take all family ages. Seated in a half sub half boat trip into the world under water. The fish that follow the boat, things you don't get see to. Worth the money as not expensive to do n the kids love it.

We really enjoyed our trip on the boat, lots of fish to see and lots of information on the walls to help us identify them. We were lucky because there was only the four of us on there. It's a very small space, and if it had been full I think it would have been quite claustrophobic! It would have... More

The journey under the water was an absolute waste of time. The same species of fish followed the boat from the harbour all the way around and there was nothing else to look at! At the end you can have a photo of yourself with a sea lion which is great. Extra charge of 6 euros mind. The only thing... More

We chose this trip at short notice after our prebooked excursion was cancelled. The sea was rough and unsuitable for us to go out but we trusted the judgment of the staff. We were told that this trip would be an hour on a glass bottomed boat (booked at last minute excursions) but it was actually 18 minutes in a... More
