Wow. That was amazing. I am left in awe of how beautiful New Zealand is. This is one of the best experiences I've had in NZ. I would love to come back here. It's worth it, seriously there's nothing like it. It's a good walk to the Lake/Glacier. The tour is worth it, the guide is very knowledgeable and you... More

The Glacier Explorer trip is excellent. Our guide was entertaining and provided us with just the right amount of information. To highlight why we should not fall in, he had us dip our fingers in the water - it was freezing. Major hypothermia would set in. Make sure to wear a jacket, it is chilly on the water with all... Good experience and well executed by a team who know what they are doing. The lake and the glacier are a special experience but at 140 bucks, it is steep for what it is but outside of hikes and flights, there is little else to do. We would do it again More

You are well warned before this trip begins that there is a walk requiring some fitness to get there - not really suitable for wheelchairs or the infirm that wouldn't climb two flights of stairs or go for a thirty minute walk. The walk is on gravel and is very, very pleasant in good weather with stunning views of Mt... More

We were so lucky to be able to have the boat trip the next day after some Huge Ice Burgs had broken of the Tasman Clacier. It was a real Privalige to witness these incredible Gaints that were Blue in colour and transperant .We will properly never again be able to see what they look like on the inside after millions... We were lucky in having excellent weather when we went on the Tasman Glacier Lake tour. Not what I had expected and colder on the water than expected! Guides are great and answer any questions on glaciers with a great wealth of knowledge. Certainly well worth taking. More

This was a wonderful little trip to see icebergs up close. Bring warm clothes because it can be quite nippy. It was cloudy and raining that morning, but we went at noon and it was dry, the clouds blew away and we finally were able to see Mt. Cook. We were lucky enough to be on a boat with a... More

This was a fanastic cruise. We went on the 3pm cruise, which puts you on the lake in time for the sun to disappear and it to get very cold very quicky. But it still doesn't detract from the amazing sights you see on the lake. Just remember to take a jacket! More

We were a bit torn if we wanted to take this excursion as it is not cheap but we decided to go for it since it was such a unique offering. We had a great time and were so happy we made the decision to take this excursion. You are picked up at the Hermitage and driven in a large... More
