We visited here and it was a blast! You hike through the dense jungle along a slightly trip hazard-like walkway. Look carefully and you may even find an actual coffee bean tree in the lush jungle that features bright red berries. Many vendors are located throughout the place that offer refreshments, although, this also subtracts a bit from the all... More

Lovely park, amazing trees and flowers and very nicely done with all the waterways. A relaxed atmosphere in a hectic mexican environment 😉

Very nice park and very enjoyable alone or as a family. It's a nice place to enjoy the nature and get rested or just relax. If you come to uruapan just for the park, I can recommend the hotel which is right next to the park.

This is an amazing display of the excellent engineering abilities of the Mexicans. It's a beautiful park, but it's also fascinating to see the variety of ways they display running water — so many different kinds of fountains and waterfalls. It's close to the better-known tourist attractions in Patzcuaro and well worth the stop.

This Parque is always a must for us to visit when we drive to Patzcuaro. It is in the town of Uruapan, about 1 hour from Patzcuaro. A clean beautiful river is diverted with beautiful rock work , making waterfalls, fountains and other water features. The plant life is incredible as well as birds and huge butterflies. It is a... This is a great place to visit if you are visiting Uruapan... The park is very nice and green. The diversity of fountains and history is amazing. The entrance fee is only like $2 (dollars) per person. They have a lot of snacks/food for sell inside. They also have souvenirs. Also, there are kids/young adults that work as tour guides... More

A place where water is born in different natural springs It is a pleasant walk along the rivers of crystal clear water and through the lush tropical gardens along it. A place to enjoy nature and the sound of running fresh water. It fills the spirit and renovates the energy. What I did not like: food stands, handicraft stands. Too... More

Very green and peaceful place to spend the afternoon. Be sure to wear good shoes cause the sidewalk is made of stones. There are plenty of shops and places to eat. There is about a mile walk in total. It costs $25 pesos to enter.

My first time in uruapan, michoacan and fell in love with this place. Everything in the parque nacional is amazingly beautiful. It's so fresh from all the waterfalls. A great place for kids. I highly recommend this place to everyone and definitely get a guide so they can tell you everything about this beautiful place. We visited in March 2014 and... More
