Magnificent views

Great views from top. We visited in August and it was all snowy & white. The skywalk feels very sturdy and is a unique and non-expensive experience.

Very exciting place for people loves mountains and not fear of heights. The sky walk attraction is must! You could choose how many hours to stay there, it could be more than 3 hours.

We went up in bright sunshine, you go up 1000m in six minutes in the gondola, an amazing experience. Ice Palace interesting and you must have good grip to walk around in there, definitely 10 euros well spent for this and the bridge where you can take in some exhilarating views. We also walked the glacier part way, if you... More

Not so well organised ticketing. Helpful staff. Beautyful view. Book both the uphill and downhill lift in advance! Dont go in the morning when it is cloudy. Dont take baby stroller, lots of stairs and rocky-slushy roads there. Wear waterproof shoes! Line up at first for the lift, then you can travel on the roof, so much fun :)

With Schladming "summer card", we had a free ride on cable car. It was a cloudy day, so the visibility was not so good. It was a bit scary to walk on the glass and see the deep slopes of the mountain.

Me and my wife and son were drove 2 hours yesterday to see the Dachstein glacier. However on arrival around 1pm we were refused entry and were told it is not possible because everything is full all day. My 5 year old son was crying because I promised him to see snow and he was waiting for days. We saw... More

This is quite an expensive cable ride up to the top but the views are spectacular and well worth the price. We decided not to pay the extra to go on the sky bridge because the views are so stunning without it. Take sunscreen and shoes for snow. Sunny weather at this altitude gets you sunburnt quickly.

We went on top of Dachstein last week. The temperature in the valley was around 32, I could not wait to get to the mountain top. The view off the skywalk is incredible, also the feeling you get going down the stairs from the suspension bridge. I have been to the skywalk in Grand Canyon and others, but this one... More
