Beautiful day's-end.

Sunset viewing from Punta Cometa is part of the Mazunte experience - and I can't imagine anyone would regret making the trek to see the incredible sight.

Take a flashlight, some wine and go early! You can watch the sunset from the top of the rocks or on the beach.

Most go there to see the sunset or sunrise. My luck was to discover a path leading down to a magnificent natural jacuzzi. Careful if you swim there, presence of sea orchils and some incoming wave can surprise you. Enjoy! :)

Great walk, amazing views and a nice lonely beach. A fine choice if you want to avoid the crowded beach of el Rinconcito.

Join the crowd of people who joke out here for sunset each night. Be sure to check out the little beach next to the cliff as well, or playa mermejita.

Little bit of a hike but well worth it. Start walking about one hour before sunset. You won't feel lonely either :).

Highly recommend, but bring some better shoes than flipflops to get there. Also, there will be quite a few other people admiring the sunset, so come early.

Beautiful view and quiet aerea, clean beach, lots of pelicans, fregate birds and even vultures. Locale fisherman in wooden boats.

Go and visit at sunset, very romantic and nice view of the cliffs and the coast. Walk around 20 minutes.
