The place is lovely but empty in the middle of the summer. I would recommend to come in September- October for the view of cranberry picking. Most likely it would be more impressive.

Found out about the Bog to Bottle tour online which included a walking tour and then wine samples. The tour was a little shorter than expected, just a quick 30 minutes but it did cover some information not provided on the website about the family and cranberry growing. A wide selection of wines were sampled following the tour. Tasty wines!... More

Came here with hubby after a lovely drive from our vacation spot. 10 bucks for a short tour and wine tasting. Great wine! Please reconsider bringing the kids though. Lots of glass in the store!

We took the tractor tour arouind the marsh at Johnstons and found it very interesting. The shop was really busy too. My only wish is that they would hold the Cranberry Festival the weekend before Thanksgiving. Afterall,... More

The cranberry marshes are a great education in how cranberies are grown. They are huge and you can walk around them. You can even hike (or snowshoe)in the forest that surrounds the marshes, and catch sight of grouse, wild turkeys and other wild life. There are educational signs all along the hike too. The shop and winery offer wine and cheese,... More

Its the busiest weekend of the year taking over the entire town and surrounding areas People are bused in from surrounding towns rain or shine. You can tour the places that make or harvest the cranberries and the winery. There are wagon tours of the marsh. Its... More

Visited the marsh this past weekend and was greeted by wonderful staff especially Jocelyn. Cheese and wine was delicious and snow shoe trails were well groomed and marked. Fantastic experience will be back

It appears I knew nothing about cranberries. All the staff, from the young lady giving the tour to the more mature man in hip waders out in the bog were more than willing to answer questions and explain things. The wine tasting was informative & we came away with a couple of bottles. Would I put it on par with,... More
