All classes include your dinner and a recipe booklet of the day's dishes. Check the website for prices and a description of each day's class (topics vary daily). I was in Bucerias for my birthday and decided to take a cooking class as my present. I took the "Chef's Choice" class, in which we made chicken with a creamy almond sauce, a chili-lime jicama appetizer, savory bean soup, a kind of cauliflower fritter, corn tortillas, agua fresca (a fruit drink), and coffee. Travis (from the US) and Edgar... More

A group of 7 of us went on the recommendation of someone who has done several cooking classes here and we had a wonderful time. We did the class on salsas and appetizers. Travis and Edgar are friendly and informative and a lot of fun to spend an evening with. The main cooking is done by them and we assisted... More

My Mexican Kitchen is run/hosted by two delightful and talented individuals- Travis and Edgar. I have taken several "classes" (more great dinner experiences in the context of a class) over the years and they just keep getting better and better. Every recipe we've made (and devoured/savored) in class, I've come home and prepared. Their seafood class is exceptional. Love these... More

This was my fourth class at My Mexican Kitchen. I also had Travis and Edgar cater a birthday dinner at my condo last year. I can't say enough about their classes, such a wonderful way to spend an evening. Travis and Edgar are awesome and I would highly recommend taking a class or two while in the area. You will... More

My wife and I travel a great deal. We try to include cooking classes with our travel plans. I want you to know Edgar and Travis are right up there with some of the best we have encountered. If you are in the area you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't take the time to enjoy an... More

We just want to say THANK YOU to Edgar and Travis for a wonderful evening. What a special Valentines Day. They arrived at our home with baskets of groceries and cooking supplies. It wasn't long before the amazing smells started coming from the kitchen. We were served dinner on the patio at sunset. Travis took the time with each item... More

Following up on a recommendation, I engaged Travis & Edgar to prepare the celebratory dinner after my cousin's wedding on the beach in Mexico. The communication and recommendations before the event were excellent, as was the choice of menu. On the day, they arrived on time at our rented condo, along with their staff. Super first impression of them. Preparation... More

We've started taking cooking classes wherever we travel and Travis and Edgar offer an amazing experience. It was a fun night out, full of delicious food and good company. Now we can bring a piece of Mexico home to our own kitchen. Tlacoyos and Sopa Tarasca were my favourites!

This is LONG overdue, as I should give credit where credit is due. Travis and Edgar went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me arrange a customized dinner to surprise my hubby and our friends while we were in Bucerias. A bunch of cold blooded NDakotans, some had food allergies and weren't used to authentic cuisine. They... More
