Well, I really owe this man a good review. We were one of the first clients several years back (I think it was 2010) and I never got round to write something up. We experienced a fantastic, very intimate, caving trip that was designed to our interests. And we learned how to take meaningful and great pictures in the dark... More

It is a shame Paul's business is not listed with the other Waitomo caving companies. His personalized approach with amazing education, photos, and as much or as little adrenalin pumping action as you want is BY FAR the BEST CAVING experience in the Waitomo/Te Kuiti Region of New Zealand. I speak as one living in this country who has spent... More

Can only echo all the other reviews. Best option for a personalised adventure with the magic of the glowworms. Did Paul's tour as a family with a 12 and 13 year old. They had a blast with the abseiling despite some initial apprehension from our daughter. Paul made it easy and she was soon desperate for the next drop. We... More

If you want a one-on-one experience, with glow worms so close you actually have to be careful not to disturb them, then this is the trip for you. The valley floor is greener than you would ever imagine. The caves were mind blowing. Paul had lots of knowledge to share with you. The time Paul took with you to make... More

We had a great day exploring the caves, taking photos and abseiling. Paul, the guide, tailors the tour to your tastes, so our trip had a focus on photography, but of course also included some abseiling and 'crawling' through small tunnels. Upon arriving at Paul's house, we received appropriate clothing, a helmet, harness etc. so we would be safe and... More

My husband and I and another couple spent an afternoon with Paul exploring the caves and abseiling down cliff sides in November 2013. It was truly a highlight of our trip to New Zealand. Paul customized the tour for us, providing 'stylish' gear, taking fabulous pictures, and giving us so much information about the hills, mountaineering, rock formations and the... More

This day trip was a great one. Paul takes you into the caves and most of the time it's just you and the people who you are with who are going in. This means that you can have the trip exactly the way you want it. In our case we chose Green Glow because we wanted to make photographs, something... More

We had a wonderful day. The caving was great but we also got to do lots of abseiling and rock climbing too. Paul worked with us prior to and throughout to build every aspect of our day around our interests and aims. His knowledge of geology, cave nature, mountaineering and his ability and enthusiasm to share it was evident all... More

We visited and spent a day with Paul in October 2013. It was an amazing day. Paul is an amazing host. All of us had an amazing time and got to try abseiling as well as caving. I would do this again in a heartbeat! My children ( 13 and 9) are still talking about our amazing trip.

My wife and I spent the day with Paul on our own personal tour which we booked the night before - luckily we were there in the off season. This was the best money we spent in NZ by far and made some awesome memories caving. Would do again if we are ever back in the area. Paul's little farm... More
