Every time we visit this area we always head for a 30 walk around this fantastic lochan. If you are lucky enough to be there on a sunny day or autumn day or both then I would suggest you cannot help but be impressed. The walk is flat apart from a slight incline from the car park. A hidden gem!

Quiet car park, leading to three separate but connect-able walks. one is fully accesible to wheelchairs buggies etc the other ywo are less so but not difficult. Good views of nearby Glencoe ranges and Loch Leven. As we walked back to the car we saw a Newly wed couple heading towards the Lochan still in full bridal wear, includin full... More

The Glencoe Lochan was on our itinerary tour. The setting is amazingly beautiful, I recommend sleeping over around this area to explore even more. Highly recommended!

We visited the Lochan whilst staying at magnificent Glencoe house, a short walk away. Walking round the Loch takes about an hour at a slow pace and offers some lovely views of Glencoe.

We heard about this lochan from our hosts, it is such a beautiful little place - a little Canada created for the North American wife of the owner to make it seem a little more like home. Sorted. A pleasant little walk - perfect after walking up Ben Nevis the previous day!!!

Our hosts recommended a walk by Glencoe Lochan, which we did before visiting Glencoe itself. It was a delight, if a bit small and is obviously used a lot for walking dogs. Being very sheltered, the reflections on the Lochan's surface were lovely and the walk ended too soon. It's worth a visit if in the area, but we wouldn't... More

This short stroll is an exceptionally easy walk, but with wonderful rewards. Other hikes in the area definitely make you work for the views, but this one delivers them right to you without as much strain. The walk starts with a short incline from the car park and then takes you around the lake where you get great mountain views... More

Having walked around the Lochan before on a rather dismal day, on this occasion with blue skies, we had a quick walk around the perimeter of the Lochan. It was great to see so many people taking advantage of this relaxing and undemanding walk. There are no facilities but as you are only five minutes from the village, this is... More

It is a lovely stretch of water with a lot of ducklings when we were there and the mountain backdrop is stunning. We walked round several times and, after 24 hours of steady rain, loved the new waterfalls feeding in and out of the lochan.
