Perfect gentle walk

This is a tranquil ,lovely Lochan. It has a gentle walk around it and a few more up hill forest paths leading off this path. One of my favourite places to relax and recharge.

A magnificent little loch tucked away behind the village of Glencoe. So picturesque and peaceful and you can walk all round it.

Firm favourite, visit it at least four times a year in the different seasons as everythIng changes so dramatically according to the time of year. Always have a picnic in the bothan at the end of the walk. Please have a wander, you will not be disappointed !!!

This is a great scenic place to walk, the path is well maintained and everywhere is tidy. The walk is not too strenuous for elderly people, all it is short off is a cafe but it may not be busy enough to make this viable. Well done.

The mountain walk was very disappointing as is path going up a hill and then down again and the views are obstructed by tress. I would highly recomend the... More

The walk around the lake is pretty; there are three trails so you can choose the length you wish. Very secluded and enjoyable...the short trail (I believe one mile) is flat and smooth which would be good for children or those who can't make strenuous climbs. If you drive the A82 east of Glencoe, that is the most beautiful scenery... More

What a pleasant place to stop! We were there on a sunny day with no wind. There is a walk around a man made lake plus other trails, but the one around the lake is good, wide and even so everyone could walk it push a buggy or a wheelchair. The nearby mountains were reflected in the water and the path... More

Beautiful scenery, wildlife and accessible lowland for prams and wheelchairs. Can see a difference in the area with conservation management and its definitely working. Always visit and enjoy our time.
