I realise this is a bit of a hidden gem in Glencoe Village but it is so stunningly beautiful I feel it is compulsory to let people know it is there. The lovely feel of the place makes it a real tonic. If you are just walking round the lake to drink in the atmosphere whilst enjoying a powerwalk or... More

Visited here on an bit of a mixed bag of a day weather-wise. It was our last morning in Glencoe and hadn't been able to visit before this due to poor weather. Parking good then a steady walk to a series of walks depending of capabilities. We chose the easiest that accommodates wheelchairs if you are infirm. You reach the... More

This is a tranquil ,lovely Lochan. It has a gentle walk around it and a few more up hill forest paths leading off this path. One of my favourite places to relax and recharge.

A magnificent little loch tucked away behind the village of Glencoe. So picturesque and peaceful and you can walk all round it.

Firm favourite, visit it at least four times a year in the different seasons as everythIng changes so dramatically according to the time of year. Always have a picnic in the bothan at the end of the walk. Please have a wander, you will not be disappointed !!!

This is a great scenic place to walk, the path is well maintained and everywhere is tidy. The walk is not too strenuous for elderly people, all it is short off is a cafe but it may not be busy enough to make this viable. Well done.

The walk around the Loch is beatiful, especially in the later evening, about 8-9pm. The refeledtions in the loch are amazing and beautiful and the ducks are very friendly and inqisititve. The mountain walk was very disappointing as is path going up a hill and then down again and the views are obstructed by tress. I would highly recomend the... More

The walk around the lake is pretty; there are three trails so you can choose the length you wish. Very secluded and enjoyable...the short trail (I believe one mile) is flat and smooth which would be good for children or those who can't make strenuous climbs. If you drive the A82 east of Glencoe, that is the most beautiful scenery... More

What a pleasant place to stop! We were there on a sunny day with no wind. There is a walk around a man made lake plus other trails, but the one around the lake is good, wide and even so everyone could walk it push a buggy or a wheelchair. The nearby mountains were reflected in the water and the path... More
