Absolutely stunning beach. The sand is soft and golden and stretches for ever. The sea is the most beautiful blue and crystal clear. The beach has mountains to the right and left of it, creating an amazing back drop! Parking for the beach (or Spiaggia) is cheap, €1 per hour (and you can put on between 1 and 6 hours... More

The scenery is a liitle (of course very litlle) like in Cape Town - loong beach under a dramatic looking rock. :) But to be seriuos - big sandy beach, with facilties around (restaurans, shops, beach service etc.), great swimming area. Been there off season, so it was not crowded, can't imagine wht is happening there during summer :) must... More

One of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily . Sea is crystal clear and sand is white . Restaurants and souvenir shops are all over the coast . Sun beds , umbrellas , canoes and paddle boats can be rented , the only one disappointment is that jet ski's are not permitted in such a beautiful beach ( What the... More

just go. Honestly, it has it all: peace and quiet, crystal waters, mountains, good food and a cute hub of markets and restaurants walking distance.

Fabulous sand. Very clean. It is an idyllic bay with mountains in the background. Nice beach front places to eat and drink. The local 'grillo' wine is chilled and lovely. Safe waters to swim and a small port close by to take a snorkling trip out around the nature reserve. Bella! On the minus side, I am sure it gets... More

San vito lo capo appears to be a very sleepy town until you get to the waters edge and see just how many umberellas, sunbeds and therefore people are here. The bay is huge and the beach is packed, great for people watching. At either end of the bay the water isn't so good due to seaweed but there are... More

Title says it all. If you are in western Sicily -- go to this beach. Grab lunch at one of the many restaurants. You'll need to pay for parking. You can spend all day. Cheers.

It was nice to see a sandy beach at last and not a pebbled one. This is supposed to be one of the best beaches in Sicily. The sand was gorgeous, the water clear and inviting. However, the crowds are either your 'thing' or not. They aren't my thing but if you had a young family or teenagers I'm sure... More

I like everything about this beach. Heard it is very crowded in August. Beginning and end of season is best. The sand is white, the water is so clear you can see little schools of fish. You can rent chairs and umbrellas for 10 euros or go to public part and BYOC. I like to rent because I always employ... More
