The beach is typical Italian style.....umbrellas piled up nearly on top of one another and people every where. The interesting thing is that some folks set up their own umbrellas in front of the concession areas and in other spots where they found room. Apparently it is not as strict as in other Italian beach areas! However, all that paled... More

Lovely sandy beach but very little of it unncumbered by parasols etc impossible to 'get away' for a bit of peace and quiet they need to tidy up the hunks of old seaweed still beautiful view when you're out in the sea swimming I guess it must be clean as I was stung by jellyfish apparently they like clean water...... This family beach ticked all my boxes: shallow, calm and crystal clear. A picturesque place full of characters selling anything from fresh cut coconut to silver jewelry. Plenty of eye candy, shops and restaurants to fill the rest of your day.

Absolutely stunning beach. The sand is soft and golden and stretches for ever. The sea is the most beautiful blue and crystal clear. The beach has mountains to the right and left of it, creating an amazing back drop! Parking for the beach (or Spiaggia) is cheap, €1 per hour (and you can put on between 1 and 6 hours... More

Been there off season, so it was not crowded, can't imagine wht is happening there during summer :) must... More

Sun beds , umbrellas , canoes and paddle boats can be rented , the only one disappointment is that jet ski's are not permitted in such a beautiful beach ( What the... More

just go. Honestly, it has it all: peace and quiet, crystal waters, mountains, good food and a cute hub of markets and restaurants walking distance.

Fabulous sand. Very clean. It is an idyllic bay with mountains in the background. Nice beach front places to eat and drink. The local 'grillo' wine is chilled and lovely. Safe waters to swim and a small port close by to take a snorkling trip out around the nature reserve. Bella! On the minus side, I am sure it gets... More
