This is a most beautiful haven of tranquility, with glorious natural light streaming in through tall, wide windows into spacious, well proportioned rooms. We assembled in market square Kildare town for what was to be a great day. Between Kildare and the nearby town of Newbridge lies an extensive tract of flat unenclosed grassland called "The Curragh".
