I went back to the Domaine Solvay with the Chateau de La Hulpe after a meeting in the city. It was a beautiful sunny week day in May (see pictures)! Was strolling around for about one hour. From the parking up to the Chateau and back. It's such a great park with many ducks on the way and at the... More

Just a short walk from the gates into the Parc Solvay (at La Hulpe), the château is a beautiful environment and as it is situated in the Forêt de Soignes, there are endless walking and biking trails to take explore.

Great park and completely free! Park your car right in front of the park and walk straight to the castle and back, or even further into the park and enjoy the great views! End up with a picknick and finally feed any leftover crumbs to the ducks in the pond. Great for kids!

The park of the Château de La Hulpe is probably my favourite attraction in the region, you can easily spend the afternoon enjoying the park's quietness and observing the great variety of trees. There's also the Fondation Folon you can visit and a café where to stop to rest and have a nice Belgian beer. The only downside of the... More

You cannot visit the actual castle, but you can walk along paths of beautiful scenery up to it and enjoy the gardens and forested land around it. It is relaxing and very lovely. Worth the time to explore if you like hiking. You have to walk from the car park at the main street. It is free.

I visited the Chateau in order to visit Fondation Folon. It was a pleasant add-on that I would not have missed.

We made a very nice walk in the park here and enjoyed the castle from outside (it was closed). Als o the many ponds and animals in the park made it feel like a real holiday.

Nice visiting place. Good for short term walks. Not much for young children to do, but very pretty gardens and surrounds.

My company's European Headquarters was situated in this little town, south of Brussels, for many years. I have walked there many times, short or long walks. On a nice day it's even nice for a family picnic. The Chateau domain has almost everything one can look for, i.e. lakes, forests, rivers, forests and even some animals.

we live only 800 m away from this park and go there at least once per week, a walk, a bike ride or feeding the ducks and the horses. enjoy the lakes, the freshly cut grass or roam the forrests. even when it rains or when it is covered in snow, the beauty is just there for you to find... More
