Nice visiting place. Good for short term walks. Not much for young children to do, but very pretty gardens and surrounds.

My company's European Headquarters was situated in this little town, south of Brussels, for many years. I have walked there many times, short or long walks. On a nice day it's even nice for a family picnic. The Chateau domain has almost everything one can look for, i.e. lakes, forests, rivers, forests and even some animals.

we live only 800 m away from this park and go there at least once per week, a walk, a bike ride or feeding the ducks and the horses. enjoy the lakes, the freshly cut grass or roam the forrests. even when it rains or when it is covered in snow, the beauty is just there for you to find... More

Perfect for a long stroll and picnic on a shiny day. The castle itself can't be in general accessed. The domain has everything: lakes, rivers, fields, forests, animals. I would suggest you use this map: http://chateaudelahulpe.wallonie.be/apps/spip/IMG/jpg/plandomaine-4.jpg We visited in this order: - Chaussée de Bruxelles - l'Argentine - Chemin des pâtures - Fondation Falon (museum, food and drinks) - Chemin... A picturesque chateau in the midst of green fields. You can enjoy the view of the chateau from afar. And you can enjoy everything around from inside the building. It is so far from the main roads that all you can hear is the wind. The chateau can be rented for parties and business meetings. For sure it costs some... More

This is a beautiful chateau in stunning surroundings. We did not go into the building itself but enjoyed the wonderful parks and beautiful gardens around the chateau. It is a place of peace, tranquility and relaxation with lots of open space for people with or without families. We have visited it a number of times since 2009 and it retains... More

The domaine Solvay, where the castle of La Hulpe is located, is best reached by car. There's a parking lot very close to the entrance. The grounds of the domaine aren't that big, but you can easily spend about two hours walking around here. The castle is well preserved and I believe it's now being used for receptions, seminars and... More

I walk here frequently, and you can be either under the trees, by the lake or simply wandering across lawn. But what makes it special is the Folon Museum (fee). We like to take visitors to the museum, for lunch in the lovely Blue Man Cafe (but note it is closed on Mondays) and then walking in the extensive grounds.... More
