Beautiful Castell, even more incredible gardens/park, huge and very suitable for a sunny day outside (just reading or doing outdoor activities). Bring a bike if you want to take the most out of it. You can take the train from Brussels and then walk there (still a bit of a walk, but pleasant). Also, don't miss checking out the Fondation... More

What an amazing park! Chateau is surrounded by forest with nice walks to enjoy at any season! There is a café that is open on weekends and waffle car comes by as well (near the entrance).

A great experience with my daughter when I visited this place a few years ago. There were musicians on the street and petting zoos. all was done in great style and ambience was great. The food stalls were less but interesting with candies and ice creams. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a time out with... More

We have been during the autumn taking profit of the nice colours the nature is offering. There is a Brasserie with good bears

We visited on a beautiful sunny day! We took a long walk through the grounds and ended up at the Chateau. There are sculptures on ground to view as well. We had a great meal in the tavern on the property too! Highlight of our trip!

This is NOT a destination - do not drive way out of your way for this. It's a nice place to run, walk or bike; the home is lovely for an outside picture, but that's it. Very nice grounds to wander.

The chateau and the surrounding woodlands are my go to area to walk my dog, or go for a peacefull jog on a sunday morning. The only thing i think that lacks here is a playground for children. However, if you go off the beaten path a little bit, you're going to have a great time!

Take a day out of your busy schedule and visit the Chateau Groiunds - have drink at the Cafe or even a light lunch ... If the ewather is nice sit outside the cafe and enjoy the scenery while siping on a glass of wine or a fine Belgian Beer .... Enjoy!

The Chateau de la Hulpe but primarily the park/forest around it are an exceptional leasure area, 20 minutes from the centre of Brussels. It offers interesting architecture, but even more interesting landscaping. (Note the artificial sun created on top of an obelisk to the north side of the chateau). Go there for a leasurely stroll or serious hiking, running, mountain... More

We came here one afternoon, just to pass some time. The weather was gorgeous. Perfectly trimmed rolling lawns and small lakes full of ducks can be seen just before the chateau. The chateau itself is well-kept and the gardens are beautiful. Great for a stroll or a picnic, great for making pictures and occasions.
