Signed up at the last minute with lessons with Jesse and I was super impressed. Very professional and safety conscious while also getting you out on the water and up on a surfboard quickly. My only regret was that I didn't have enough time to build on my skills. Would have loved to do their 5 day camp.

We stayed at Casa Romantica and booked lessons with Del Mar through the hotel. The whole experience was great. Our instructor Jesse, was very friendly and knowledgeable. It wasn't long before my wife and I were catching waves. I would highly recommend Del Mar. An all around great experience. Can't wait to go back.

I was very nervous to try surfing, and was relieved to meet such wonderful women, passionate about surfing and teaching others. All of us stood up on our boards. it was the best day!!

My trip to Nosara for a week of yoga/surf/detox with Angie from Del Mar Surf Camp was the BEST! I stayed at the beautiful,peaceful Harmony Hotel. The week was amazing with fresh organic food, amazing surf lessons and yoga. I would recommend this retreat for anyone looking to relax, rejuvinate and awaken your spirit!

Fernando was our instructor and for first time surfers we had a blast! He was very instructive and encouraging. We really appreciated the way he wanted us to enjoy surfing as much as he did.

Pack light. You'll only need a few quick trying clothing items. No long pants. Bring flip flops and a camera. Lots of sun screen. DelMar was welcoming, helpful and flexible. Surf lessons were matched to our skill level and just challenging enough. We felt safe. Very friendly staff all around. Highly recommend this camp!
