I can not justly describe how much these guys helped me. Everyone there was super helpful. Taking 2 lessons a day in a bunch of different conditions was key my learning. A big thanks to the Kevin's (both of them), Alfonso, Helbert and all the other instructors. We'll be back!

This was my fourth time here and it won't be my last. I travel a lot and usually like checking out different locations, but this is one place I really enjoy revisiting. The instructors are professional and fun and they do a great job of helping you improve your surfing ability...regardless of your level. The selection of boards they have... More

This was my first trip to Costa Rica and my first time surfing. I didn't really leave Nosara (the town that Safari is in) at all. I cannot compare Safari to any other surf camps because I've never use any other surf camps, but I can say that when I go back to Costa Rica, I will go back to... More

Hats off to the entire team at Safari Surf! After doing a ton of online research I found Safari has a female surf instructor (a must for this trip). From my initial email months before we arrived Tim (owner) was incredibly accommodating and gracious. He ensured me Tinis would be back in town and ready to rock a few lessons.... More

We just had an amazing week at Safari Surf Costa Rica! 5 women went together for a surf/yoga vacation. We worked with Marsi ahead of time and chose to rent a house in Guinones Beach Club (Casa Paraiso) which was perfect for us- just a five minute bike ride from surf school, with full kitchen, infinity pool, etc. Surfing was... Thank you to the amazing instructors and Safari Surf family -- Tim, Abuelito, Jeffrey, Pio, Louis, and Kevin (and the many others!). You guys made my first trip to Costa Rica and first time surfing absolutely incredible. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable, patient, and great at building your confidence out in the ocean. Plus, Jeffrey comes out to... More

Upon arrival, I was greeted most warmly. I stayed in the Beach Hostel for 3 days, then moved to the new Olas Verde's Hotel. The Hotel is quiet, peaceful and the staff is wonderful. I was had to feel as if they are my second family. The instructors are the best. After a twenty-five year absence from surfing, I was... More
