Well they charge you a good amount for this activity but its once in a life time experience. A group of 5-6 people are allowed at once in the closed are with tigers around. You are usually allowed to interact, touch & pet any one of the lion which they choose. You can easily spend about 10-15 mins inside &... More

We visited the park just for the lion encounter. It was very disorganised when we arrived. The park was very busy as the local children are in school holidays It was a free for all at the information desk where we were asked to check in, which took around half an hour and was very frustrating We were driven to... Great place to go with family (with kids). You can touch big cats (lions and tiger babies) as well as walk with adult lions, go to safari. Park is very well organised.

This place is mostly about making money. Kids might enjoy it, but the long waits between safari rides, and all the caged animals and birds, make this my least enjoyable experience in both visits to Mauritius. Having missed the birds first time, I returned to see them this time, and found the experience almost as depressing as the animals part... More

Your able to walk with the lions, and you get to see a lot of animals. You can even fish in a pond that they stock.

Casela Nature Park is really great botanical garden with wide range of fauna and flora available there. Interaction with wild beasts and beautiful peacocks add thrill to your visit.

Amongst all the fabulous attractions in Mauritius this was my favourite. Unfortunately Virgin Holidays do not arrange this due to "health and safety" so I booked it privately and I'm glad I did. It's an hour of walking with the lions and it's so good you wouldn't believe how quickly time will pass. You'll have your adventure recorded on a... More

"Interaction with Lions" is an activity within Casela Nature Park, and it was 750 Mauritian Rupees/person when we went. This was separate from the entry fees. Basically, we were taken inside a large cage with close to 8-9 lions/lioness. But we were allowed to interact with only one lioness. Here we could touch it and click photos with it under... More
