I cannot rate the Lion Walk highly enough, an amazing, once in a lifetime experience. The walk lasts an hour where you follow 2 lions as they explore and play. There is plenty of interaction, stoking, holding theirs tails & posing for photographs. A DVD & photos of the experience are also available at £20 & are lovely mementos. We... More

Stayed in Bel Ombre, so it was a couple of hours to get to the park to walk with the lions. It was worth the trip as this was well worth it. The lions are fully grown and are about 2 years old, if you're a bit nervous around animals then this may not be for you. The guides were... More

When we came to this park we did the zip lining (we did the hour long one but it would be worth it if you had the time to do the longer zip lining (4hrs) because of how much more you get to do ie: walk planks, tiny bridges, longer zip lines, etc) the Lion walk, and pet the Cheetahs.... More

Lions are in double cages. Lions look drugged out. It was a waste for me. The park is over hyped. I've seen much better than this park.

Our walk with the lions in August 2014 was enjoyable. A guide and 3 other helper/photographers walked with 12 tourists and 2 young lions for a full hour. It was explained that the young lions used for the walks have been well trained and are therefore very safe. The walk included the ability to touch and stroke the lions and... More

We went to this activity as we thought it was one of the most unique experiences you can get in Mauritius - and, on pair with swimming with wild dolphins and relaxing at a dream beach, it is. The weather had been tricky all week with rain spells and sun shine and we were keen to do this on a... More

Expensive (close to a hundred pounds depending on the exchange rate) but wow so worth it! I was worried the lions would be doped but I really don't think they were - ours were a young male and female - the male was very stand-offish but the girl (a white lion) let every one of us walk beside her -... Did this for my 40th birthday and loved it, not scary at all and the lions are not really interested in the tourists, just walking and eating meat, loads of opportunity to touch, stroke, and hold the tail of the lions while walking at THEIR pace.

We walked with the lions for over an hour on our honeymoon. It's one of only 3 places in the world you can have this experience. We've got some amazing photo souvenirs with us touching them. Loved it!

One of the most amazing things ever done in my life. Being that close to lions and touching them while walking with them, never thought of even in my dreams. The handlers are excellent and pros. Feel scared when they release the beast from their cage and approaching you but afterwards you finally get used to being side by side... More
