One of the most amazing things ever done in my life. Being that close to lions and touching them while walking with them, never thought of even in my dreams. The handlers are excellent and pros. Feel scared when they release the beast from their cage and approaching you but afterwards you finally get used to being side by side... More

Words do not do justice to this experience. If you do nothing else in Mauritius, do this. We walked for over 1 hour with a 20 month old white lioness and an 8 month old lion cub and I was close to tears for most of the experience through joy. It's simply breathtaking to see such relaxed lions enjoying their... More

One of the most interesting thing you could do in your lifetime. Steeve (Guide) and Lois (Handler) were excellent. Entertaining and professionals, not only you feel safe but also thoroughly entertained. Must do thing and would surely do again when I visit Mauritius in future. Hope these majestic cats are treated nicely when we are not with them as they... More

My husband and I did the Walking with Lions in Mid November, he was a bit trepiditious, I was like a rat up and drainpipe! What can I say, this experience is truly amazing! We did the Walking with Lions and also the Lions and Cheetah interaction. A very important point is that at no point do you feel scared... More

If you’re in Mauritius with a spare few hours then try this, Walk with the Lions. It’s a great experience, something you might only do once in your life, for more than one reason! Not suited for children. The park has Cheetah, Lions and Tigers as well as Giant Tortoise and numerous birds.

We had previously stayed on the east coast of Mauritius before heading off to Africa expecting to have many lion encounters, but sadly no; but then we remembered that we were coming back to the west coast of Mauritius and booked to walk with the lions. We weren't disappointed as we not only got all the photos but I walked... More

I visited Safari Adventures with a large group and we were fortunate enough to have our own 'Walk with the Lions'. Ryan, our guide was very professional and informed us of the safety requirements of us and answered all our questions. The two male lions who came out with their trainers were well trained and the lions walked in front... More

This was at the top of our to do list in Mauritius and we were not disappointed! We walked with 2 white lions in a group of 11 people and it was the most amazing thing we have ever done! The lions were beautiful and clearly well looked after, the guides only carry sticks and treats and if the lions... More

Oh my goodness...we went to Mauritius with the intention that we wouldn't come home without doing this trip.....gosh what a wonderful day out !!! We booked with Vijay on the beach at Trou Aux Biches and didn't regret it at all - MUCH cheaper than booking through the travel agent's representative and excellent attention from him on each trip we... What a fantastic experience getting to walk with 2 white lions. Lovely walk through the forest with Steeve the guide. Great that you can take in your camera as there are plenty of chances to get some great pictures of the lions. Steeve is very informative. Bought the photos and DVD at the end for 1000MR/£20. Would def recommend
